To whom this may concern,

I am writing this letter to give you insight on who Melisa Valenzuela is. I

understand that I have not had work experience, but I believe that my academics and

extracurricular activities have given me the skills I need to be a good employee. I have

been an outstanding student throughout high school, and I have challenged myself by

taking Advanced Placement, honors, and college courses. I have also been involved in

different volunteer activities such as mentoring which has helped me become more

outgoing and understanding of other people. This has taught me to become patient and

kind towards all the people I meet. I have also had the leadership skills needed to be

secretary of my school’s Interact Club throughout high school. I have been able to

maintain my good grades and get more involved in my community due to time

management skills that I have developed. If I am chosen for this job, I will be
