Being one of the topics of greatest interest to organizations, the use of

information and communication technologies, faces the challenge of using ICT

to provide workers with the necessary tools and knowledge that are required
since it is an indispensable tool for confront the environments.
The present research work entitled "Use of Information and Communication
Technologies (ICT) and labor performance of workers of the Puno Local
Education Management Unit, period 2018", aims to analyze the use of ICT and
the level of labor performance of the workers of the Puno Local Educational
Management Unit.
This research project will be a quantitative approach because the data
collection will be used to test the hypothesis, descriptive scope because it will
seek to specify important characteristics of the research topic, non-experimental
design because the research will be carried out without the deliberate
manipulation of variables and only an observation will be made, it will
correspond to deductive and inductive methods; the first because it will be
described based on studies developed and levels of use of ICT and work
performance, the second because it will allow us to reach general conclusions
based on specific levels of ICT use and work performance.
The population will be made up of the workers who work in the Puno 2018 Local
Education Management Unit. The sample used is for convenience because of
the ease of access, the availability of workers to be part of the sample, in a
given time interval or any other practical specification of a particular element.
The technique to be used for the collection of the information was the survey
and the instrument will be the questionnaire. Two questionnaires will be applied,
the first for the data collection of the information and communication technology
variable and the second for the data collection of the labor performance variable
in the Puno Local Educational Management Unit, 2018.
The general hypothesis was raised as: The use of Information and
Communication Technologies and the labor performance of the workers of the
Puno Local Educational Management Unit, period 2018 is efficient. And the
hypothesis specifies 1 as: The use of ICT of the workers of the Puno Local
Educational Management Unit, period 2018, is efficient, specific hypothesis 2
such as: The level of work performance of the workers of the Local Educational
Management Unit Puno, period 2018 is effective.
The results will serve to improve the use of ICT and improve job performance in
the UGEL Puno 2018.
