ISO 22301 IN INDIA, CHALLENGES

01 CONSERVATISM

This is Indians’ geen based. All over India, Punjab to

Madurai, we have lived secured over ages. This kind
of security set us in a conservative mindset,
preventing to think rationally.

MNCs, outsource, plant lubrication maintenance

and machine maintenance, globally with confidence
and professionally.

Even, the same MNCs, in India hesitate to

implement these outsourcings. We are insecured
beyond certain level of relationship.

Most of the Indian CEOs, though we have

exceptions, are conservative and insecured over,
technolgy threat. This is also justified, to a major
extent.

Our history has lot of evidences for breach of trust.

02 RISK TAKING

Risk analysis is one of the key requirements of

business continuity management.

Secured mindset reduces the risk taking attitude,

hence risk analysis for business continuity is not
sound and deep in India

03 DATA INTEGRITY

Comparatively to advanced countries, social

responsibility is less in India. Systems are politically
flexed, resulting in biased, doctored information and
data

Reliability on any govt schemes, regulations are

less dependent for long term observance and plan
business stragies.

04 CONVICTION LEVEL

For every 400 to 500 km, culture, tradition, nature

changes. So Indian business needs flexibility. Thus
Indian businessmen are less convicted and
persistent to continue with their strategy to
succeed.

05 MIND ESETTING

Hence, the mind set to think of business continuity

concepts are very challenging. A great amount of
scientific, psychological training is required for the
Indian businessmen .
