Judo and Jiu-Jitsu

2018.
Preface
Specific aim at this book is to make available to athletes and coaches
all necessary data about historical development of Judo sport, its
characteristics, principles of planning and programming, training
periodization, programme content for mastering this subject matter, self
defence and its techniques.
Research methods are specially processed because this book is for all
researches current and future ones.
Even the author tried to, as detailed as it is possible, describe judo
and self-defence as significant part of combat sport it wasn`t possible to
include all techniques and procedures. A book like this, undoubtedly has its
limitations. This book can help its reader to love its subject, understand its
content and to adopt the knowledge. It is for the students of Physical
education, coaches, athletes for their future development in the aria of sport
and also for researches in the area of sport and similar scientific disciplines.
When making this book the author has tried to incorporate his large
experience which he gained from a lot of teachers from Serbia and abroad,
working as coach, teacher at school for coaches and courses and also as an
university professor of combat sports.
The author tried to explain this subject matter as it is possible in its
multidisciplinary, avoiding narrow schematising and theoretical
boundaries, and all characteristics that describe functioning of an organism
in combat the author thinks should be developed by the help of the method
and those means which take in consideration the narrow specialization of
the athlete. The book contains the results of theory turned into practice and
the results of experimental researches of anthropometric, mobility, cognitive
and conative structures ant their relations at judokas.
Handing over this textbook to the public, author expresses gratitude
to his first teachers Slobodanka Milovanović, professor PhD Konstantin
Momirović,Janko Janković, and Radmilo Janković. He also thanks to
prominentJapanese experts, who incorporated his techniques into this
textbook, specially to professor Jamamoto Nobuaci, who solved many
dilemmas from philosophy, methodology and practical appliances of Judo.
Special thanks and gratitude to professor Srboljub Popovic, professor
of combat sports in Faculty of Physical education in Belgrade, and professor
Slobodan Stankovic, professor of anthropometric on Faculty of Physical
education in Pristina, who as reviewer make this textbook get its final shape.
The author is very pleased to thank Diana, who aesthetically shaped
manuscript, transferringinto every line a part of her gentility.
Many thanks to lector PhD Nedeljko Bogdanovic, Dragan Djordjevic
and Dragica Stevanovic who did everything to enable this textbook come
