Distance Education is no longer a new concept to me since during my time of

earning my baccalaureate degree, I was able to encounter the concept and the
programs. Only at this time that I did appreciate how amazing it is for people
like me who are full time employees. In my desire to further develop my
professional career in my own pace, I came up to think of other alternatives to
gain knowledge even without enrolling to schools for master’s degree
program.

The DE Readiness Module is my stepping stone to better understanding on

Distance Education. It is a very comprehensive and organized module which
objectives to acquaint students to the programs were achieved successfully. I
found the part on discussion about the video as very interesting and easy
because I was given opportunity to interact with other and develop insights on
the program. I was also encouraged to develop critical ideas in reflection to the
material being shown. It gives students vast opportunities to make a pool of
open discussion.

The feedback part, on the other hand is quite difficult and challenging because
it requires deep analysis on the module as to how much it affected us to learn.
Nevertheless, I find the module amazing since it is constructive in approach
where tasks are delegated to students for learning. Its purpose is well served.

Well, after going through this module, I realized that distance education as
described in books are far too amazing and quite hard because it requires
passion and dedication to be able to succeed because this form of education is
not easy. Consequently, as a distance education student, I see myself as a
person in extreme need of a planning notebook to be able to manage my time
for my functions at work, for my family and of course for my roles as a student
in this platform.
