The Law of Responsibility

The Law of Responsibility states that you are solely responsible for

everything you are; for everything you have (or don’t have); for
everything you achieve; and for everything you become. As such, there
are no excuses or complaints, and there is certainly never anyone or
anything to blame for your life or predicament; not the government, not
society, not other people… You have attracted these events and
circumstances via your thoughts through the Law of Attraction and
via the resulting choices you have made. As such, you are entirely
responsible for everything and therefore also hold the power to change
“anything” by choosing a different set of thoughts that will lead you
toward making a different set of choices.

Given this, you must always accept the full consequences of the
choices you have made. After all, these choices have shaped your life
up to this point, and now in this moment you have a choice yet again to
shape it any-which-way you choose. Only through complete
responsibility will you start making the progress you desire to make in
life.

We are each personally responsible for everything in our lives, no matter how out of
control things may appear to be in the moment.

When we take responsibility, we empower ourselves. When we take responsibility, we

become open to learning valuable lessons. When we take responsibility, we are on the
path to making internal and external changes to improve our situation and move into
greater Energetic Integrity. When we take responsibility, we disarm those who would
vigorously defend their position and blame us.

On the other hand, when we blame others, we give away our power.

At the highest spiritual level, we accept responsibility for everything, knowing that
everything that we see, feel, and experience is manifest from our subconscious mind,
and that at some level, we are the Creator, causing this all to happen. We have infinite
power.

There is no greater example of this than the Hawaiian ho’oponopono meditation

(paraphrased), as follows:
Identify the entity (person or situation) that is causing you stress. Assume 100%
responsibility for this creation in your life. Then say:

“If I, my family, relatives, or ancestors have offended you or yours in thoughts, words, or
deeds from the beginning of creation until now, we ask for forgiveness and we love you.
In this spirit, we also forgive you and yours totally and completely. We are one. When we
forgive you, we forgive ourselves. When we love you, we love ourselves.

Let this cleanse, cut, release, and purify all negative emotions tied to negative energies
and transmute them all into pure light. And it is done!”

You can do this all the time by simply saying “I’m sorry, I love you, please forgive me”,
over and over, until all of the negative energy has been released.

By taking this level of responsibility, any remaining feelings of being a victim and being
powerless are eliminated. In forgiving others, loving them, forgiving yourself and loving
yourself in all ways, the anger, embarrassment, guilt, etc., is removed.

Implementation:  Take responsibility right now for something you had previously
blamed on someone else.
