This letter of reference is for John Robinson, a current student teacher at University High School.
Mr. Robinson has expressed his desire to work in the Waco ISD schools and pursue a career as a teacher at the
secondary level. I have known Mr. Robinson for a total of 6 years and aware of his passion for education. Mr.
Robinson came to Waco High last year to complete some observation hours and lessons for some of his classes
in his teacher certification program. He always had a positive attitude, was willing to learn, and be receptive to
growth as a future teacher. Mr. Robinson was always professional and came with creative ideas to teach my
classes. Now as a student teacher at UHS, he still keeps in contact with me about his certification and is eager to
learn and grow as an individual and teacher. As a former correctional officer, Mr. Robinson comes equipped
with good management skills and discipline. He understands the severity of good classroom management and
instruction. I have witnessed Mr. Robinson’s skills, dedication, and willingness to teach students in the Waco
area and be an advocate for their success. He is equipped and prepared to take on a teaching position in Waco
