To Whom It May Concern,

I am pleased to have the opportunity to recommend Ms. Mallory Bronikowski for a teaching position with your
district. Ms. Bronikowski has many strengths that lead me to write this letter of recommendation; however, the
connection and rapport that she builds with each and every child while promoting student learning, is her
greatest attribute. As of December, Ms. Bronikowski will have completed her student teaching at Paint Creek
Elementary in a 3rd grade classroom under the supervision of Mrs. Hallie Jaffe.

In her time at Paint Creek Elementary, Ms. Bronikowski has taken the time to learn each student’s academic
strengths, weaknesses, and personal motivators. She integrates this knowledge into her instruction which leads
to outstanding student learning outcomes. Focusing on student learning includes technology integration and
innovative planning in everyday lessons. Ms. Bronikowski is knowledgeable regarding the Michigan State
Standards and RTI initiatives. She provides opportunities for students to question and investigate, discovering
their own answers with her guidance and facilitation. Her classroom is extremely conducive for student
learning and a culture of teamwork is encouraged and cultivated. Ms. Bronikowski exemplifies amazing
behavior management and has built a strong classroom community that is based on respect and collaboration.

During her time at Paint Creek Elementary, Ms. Bronikowski has been a member of our after-school GAP team
offering clubs for students. She is also a member of our School Management Team. Ms. Bronikowski
consistently gives to our parent and school community, seeks out professional learning, utilizes new
technologies, and exposes her students to the best instructional practices. Ms. Bronikowski has also participated
in our building professional learning communities and district professional learning including Reader’s and
Writer’s Workshop, our SEL initiatives, The Positivity Project, etc. Ms. Bronikowski uses both formative and
summative assessments to drive her instruction with students. She uses this data to guide instruction and is
exceptional at collecting, organizing and determining when additional data is needed to measure student growth.

In closing, Ms. Bronikowski has demonstrated that she is hard-working, ethical, and dedicated to student
success. She is professional, courteous, and conscientious of her actions and the impact her actions have on
others. Ms. Bronikowski will bring enthusiasm and passion to any teaching position and will greatly benefit the
students she has the privilege of teaching. Please feel free to contact me at (248) 814-1724 or (248) 343-3326 if
you would like additional information.

Sincerely,

Lauren K. Smith
