Dear School Administrator,

Mackenzie Potter completed a long term substitute position at Riverview Elementary during the last
trimester of the 2019 school year. There was a great deal of responsibility placed on her immediately upon
accepting the position that she was able to successfully accomplish. She is a delightful young educator
looking for a great educational opportunity. Mackenzie is a kind and friendly person, who is sincere and
caring. She was well liked by our students and the teaching staff.

Mackenzie gained experience using provided curriculum yet researched independently to find added
resources to add to the existing. She brought in real world experiences to bridge the link between
curriculum content and how students could use it in the future. Mackenzie has experience using a variety of
resources in the classroom, being creative with lessons and making student learning fun. She was easily
adaptable to the needs of the learning environment in order to enhance student performance and
demonstrated successful classroom management without issue. Mackenzie did a nice job building
relationships with students and staff. She was able to make impactful connections to inspire students to do
their very best. Each day, she brought a positive and uplifting attitude which was admired by the school.

Mackenzie gained great work experience and confidence while working in our building. She is a very
hardworking, self-motivated, dedicated and outstanding young educator with a bright future. If you have
