To Whom It May Concern,

As Mackenzie's supervisor during her clinical experience as a fourth-grade student teacher at

Gwynedd Square Elementary School in the North Penn School District, I observed Mackenzie as
she honed her teaching skills. Throughout the sixteen-week placement, Mackenzie demonstrated
many skills as a teacher candidate.

Mackenzie is a creative teacher skilled at researching innovative teaching methods, often using
technology to enhance her lessons. She enjoys creating lessons that her students find fun and
engaging. I have witnessed her successfully using gallery walks, Socratic seminars, and
electronic games to give her students challenging and fun activities. Her students like her fun and
bubbly personality, and Mackenzie respects her students and works diligently to ensure they
master the skills she teaches.

Mackenzie has high energy and could relate to her fourth graders on their level. She
demonstrated that she could create an environment where students feel comfortable sharing since
she validates their responses and gives positive feedback. She has a cheerful personality, which
sets a positive tone in a learning environment. Her caring and commitment to children is evident
in her conversations, previous work experience, and desire to teach.

Mackenzie became proficient in all four domains of the Danielson model. She knew how to plan
and prepare for her lessons, create a safe and inviting learning arena, speak appropriately to her
students, often with fun and engaging comments, and was professional in her demeanor.
Mackenzie welcomed advice and suggestions and would apply them in her teaching. Mackenzie
also demonstrated she could be flexible and responsive to her students’ needs, always wanting to
ensure her students were able to learn the content she presented. Mackenzie is a reflective
educator and learned to revise and adapt as needed.

Mackenzie's skills will be vital to any school district as she is passionate about encouraging a
love for school and learning for young students. I recommend your consideration of Mackenzie
for any position for which she is qualified.

Sincerely,

Katherine Ache
