To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing on behalf of Mr. Braxton Nichols, senior at Western High School. Braxton was a student of mine
both in homeroom and high school geometry. During this time, Braxton left a lasting impression on me from his
behavior, ability to communicate and work ethic in class. Braxton consistently demonstrates a positive attitude,
hard work ethic and high level of respect toward everyone around him.

When I first met Braxton, what immediately stood out was his ability to communicate with people of all ages.
Braxton is an excellent communicator. He is not afraid to convey ideas or challenge another’s thinking, all while
maintaining a high level of respect. Additionally, he shows a genuine interest in understanding one’s opinion, or
a certain topic and/or subject. This results in quality, high level questions that are truly beneficial to him and his
surrounding peers. Braxton’s high level of communication puts him far above others in his age group and
beyond. I have no doubt that this trait will assist Braxton as he moves forward into adulthood.

In addition to his ability to communicate, Braxton displays a positive attitude and hard work ethic regardless of
the situation. For most students throughout the school year, it is easy for life to drag and to lose sight of one’s
goal. However, Braxton has maintained a high grade point average, while participating as a varsity athlete in
multiple sports. This level of work ethic is tough to be taught and Braxton has demonstrated this trait constantly
while maintaining a positive attitude. Braxton has proven this on a consistent basis and this puts him far above
others.

Braxton has a bright future ahead of him. He demonstrates a number of characteristics that will help him thrive
in any situation he is in. Braxton will not only achieve any personal goal he sets for himself but will also be a
valuable member of any team that he joins. In today’s society, teams are constantly looking for candidates that
demonstrate communication skills, a hard work ethic and positive attitude. Thus, Braxton sets himself apart by
already embodying such characteristics. In short, I recommend Mr. Braxton Nichols to you with great
confidence that he will consistently provide a presence that is both gravitating and influential.
