As we can see from the result, a fixed base structure's storey drift is 9.4x10 ¯³ more than friction
pendulum-based structure. Time is directly proportional to the building's storey drift, where values have
shown that a base isolated structure is rising gradually in drifting compared to a fixed base structure.
Therefore, under the operation of lateral forces base isolated structure is safer.

The acceleration of the base isolated structure decreases as compared with the fixed based structure.
From the results obtained, the acceleration of the isolated structure of the friction pendulum base
decreases by 3.439m / s^2 relative to a fixed structure. As the time period increases, the acceleration of
the base isolated structure decreases by 1,023m / s² relative to the fixed base structure with constant
acceleration.

Based on the results obtained, the displacement of the structure with friction pendulum system is
shown to decrease by 0.264 m as compared to the fixed structure. Time period is also shown to be
inversely proportional to displacement. With respect to time period, the displacement decreases.

As the time period of Friction Pendulum Base isolated structure increases by 1.794 seconds, the
structural damage during ground shaking decreases as compared to the Fixed structure with a time
period of 2.811 sec. Other parameters such as displacement, acceleration, and storey drift have been
observed to decrease with increasing time period.
