1. Using an example to illustrate your response, explain why science is regarded as a

a) Sasha had difficulty walking because of severe discomfort in her right knee.
She decided to visit Dr. Bailey who concluded that she had arthritis in her right
knee because, based on his examination, the knee was swollen and painful.
b) Caribbean scientists created a genetically modified high protein pigeon pea
called “High Pro”. Investigations are now underway to determine the ideal soil
for optimum growth by cultivating the pea on all local soil types.

 The pharmaceutical company Maripol has developed a new antihistamine
called Redux
 One component of Redux is Venol B
 Venol B, in certain cases, causes blurred vision
