Present Perfect Tense

O + H.V (Has/Have) + been + V3 + S

Active Voice Passive Voice

I have fulfilled my promise. The promise has been fulfilled by me.


I have not fulfilled my promise. The promise has not been fulfilled by me.
Have I fulfilled my promise? Has the promise been fulfilled by me?

She has lighted the lamp. The lamp has been lighted by her.
Has she lighted the lamp? Has the lamp been lighted by her?

He has revised his lesson. His lesson has been revised by him.
Has he revised his lesson? Has his lesson been revised by him?

They have bought a new house. A new house has been bought by them.
Have they bought a new house? Has a new house been bought by them?

Past Perfect Tense

O + H.V (Had) + Been + S

Active Voice Passive Voice


I had already read this book. This book had already been read by me.
Had I already read this book? Had this book already been read by me?
He had done his work. His work had been done by him.
Had he done his work? Had his work been done by him?

They had taken food. Food had been taken by them.


Had they taken food? Had food been taken by them?
Future perfect Tense

O + H.V (Shall have/ will have) + Been + V3 +S

Active Voice Passive Voice

They will have taken meal. Meal will have been taken by them.
They will not have taken meal. Meal will not have been taken by them.
Will they have taken meal? Will meal have been taken by them?

They will have slaughtered the cow. The cow will have been slaughtered by them.
They will not have slaughtered the cow. The cow will not have slaughtered the cow.
Will they have slaughtered the cow? Will the cow have been slaughtered by them?

Perfect continuous Tense


O + H.V (Has/have) + been + being +V3 + Since/for + time

He has been reading books for two hours.

Books have been being read by him for two hours.
