My parents caq feed, clothe and educate me, but I L:nowthey
have difficulties in doing so. Sometimes Ifeelunhappyqfuentr

enjoy watching it. I would rather watch a livebroadcast of
football on TV than a feature film. I feel sadthat ourMy-anmar
National team have suffered one defeat after another in the
hands olopponents rvho once had to look up to us in awe.
Myanmar was once the powerhouse ofAsian sorcer. But we
have descended so low dorvnthe ladderthat evcn Southeast
Asian countries consider us small fry. Comedians even qackevi
jokes about the inability ofthe Myanmartearn" urgingthem
not to play again, ever.

much vaunted Malaysian team in the Tiger Cup 2004. Under
"-
the able coaching ofthe Bulgarian Ivan Kolev, the Mya::mar
players played well in attack arid defence. Theycontrolledthe
ganle and had a greater ball possession. When captain Soe
Myat Min smacked in the winning goal atthe lgthminute of
the first half, I jumped forjoy. it was Sundaythe 12th ofDe-
cember. The team were virtualiy assured ofaplace in the semi-
final. My happiness was so immense that I could not express it
in'words. The same goes forthe entirenation-
