As a college student, you may not be earning a lot of


money. But the best way to hang on to the money you
do have is through budgeting. Wherever you are in your
college journey budgeting skills and financial
responsibility will influence the opportunities you have
throughout your life. Even though most college students
are not yet financially independent. As a college
student, you will likely need to coordinate with your
family as you make your budget, especially if they are
directly providing you with spending money. If that’s
the case, you can show how responsible you are by
coming up with a schedule or system for exchanging
that money.
