Rationale of the study

Money is a public concern. What does it buy? What does it cost to borrow? Who
has and who has not? Money is what the taxman takes. And as our intermediary of
exchange, it is what keeps us alive.

Without money, we might not just manage to go on breathing. Every now and
then, people would need money for different reason and would look for ways to acquire
it. Thus, there is always a place for any lending service everywhere and there will be a
place for Gratzie Financial Assistance in Bayawan City.

GRATZIE Financial Assistance is a lending business that will provide a


monetary help to public and private employees and to small business owners. The amount
borrowed shall be a short or long term business loan and shall be returned with an
increase fee.

GRATZIE Financial Assistance anticipates to aid aspiring Bayawanons who


would want to put up their own business and else, to support them with their different
needs in their daily living.

Objectives of the Study

Primary Objectives
To determine the feasibility of installing GRATZIE Financial Assistance in
National High Way, Poblacion, Bayawan City.

Secondary Objectives
1. To determine the aptitude and amenability of the research to build and
operate a particular type of business.
2. To determine the demand of the Bayawan City’s Populace.
3. To determine the materials needed; permit, licenses and requirements for
construction and functionality of the propose business.
4. To determine the socioeconomic impact of the proposed business.

Significance of the Study

The study will be significant to the following:

Customers/Debtors/Borrowers: It will aid them in finding a firm to help them in putting


up their own business and else to support them in their daily living needs.

Readers: It will provide them information and serve as their guide in case they will
engage in the same business or study.

Researchers: It will help them recognize the issues in putting up a lending business
including the strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of the proposed
project that will help them make some courses of actions or possible solution.

Scope and Limitation of the Study

The study covers only those public and private employees of different
institutions within Bayawan City because their security of tenure ensure that they can
pay.

Research Methodology

Research Design:

This study is a descriptive survey type of research. Necessary data were


acquired using the following methods:
Primary Methods:
1. Personals Interviews
2. Survey through questionnaire

Secondary Methods:
1. Internet Surfing
2. Books/Research Works

Research Locale:

The study will take place within Bayawan City. The proposed project will be
located at the National High Way, Barangay Poblacion fronting the City Plaza just beside
EMCOR Bayawan Branch.

Research Respondents:

Using the Random Sampling Method, the researchers considered every public
and private employees of every institution within the 28 Barangays of Bayawan City.

Research Instruments:

The study will use of questionnaires that serve as the main instrument this will
be given to our respondents to obtain pertinent information regarding the crediting
transaction, since many lending organization already exist in the locality personal
interview is needed to support the data.

The researchers used the following methods in acquiring the data needed:

1. Internet Surfing
2. Books Scanning

Data Gathering Procedure

The procedure in collecting the data to be made with the identification of the
total number of LGU’s employees, Government Teachers and Barangay Officials of
Urban Barangays of Bayawan City, and gets the sample size that will be our respondents.
After determining our exact number of respondents questionnaire will the be distributed
to get data.
