CHAPTER SUMMARY
Brian and Caruak were close to reaching Una-Una. But his engine was leaking oil again.
So Caruak fixed the motor using some fruits.
When they got to Una-Una, they went to the police station. There they spoke with
Captain Silva. Brian told him that some miners were going to kill the Indians. So Captain
Silva went with his policemen to the Indian village to wait for the miners.
When the miners arrived, Captain Silva and his police detained them.
In the morning, Chief Maoni thanked Brian and David for helping them. He gave David a
red necklace and said "Jaguari".
Astrid told David that the Indian chief gave him that name, and that "Jaguari" means
"Little Jaguar".
Later, Chief Maoni gave Brian a black necklace, and said "Manaué".
Astrid told Brian that Chief Maoni gave that name to him, and that "Manaué" means
"Fast Runner".
Then Brian gives Caruak his helmet, and said "Champion".
Captain Silva took Brian and David to Manaus. There were all the runners, and the
Italians were the winners.
David and Brian talked to them about their adventure in the Indian village, so the Italians
also called David and Brian "Winners".
WHAT IS THE MORAL OF THIS CHAPTER?
Those who help the weakest are always winners.

 Day 5
We are in Manaus now. It is a beautiful town on the river, but it is very hot.
Enrico and Luigi are the champions of the Amazon Rally. I am very happy for
them. but David and I are happy for chief Maoni and his people too. the miners
didn't kill them. And now we can go back to england with our necklaces and our
new Indian names. We had a very interesting time in Brazil.
