(B) Write a letter to a member of your family asking for money for a trip which is being organized by
the school. The body of your letter should be between 80 and 120 words. You may include some of
the given points below and any others. You may include some of the given points below and others
you may think of.

- The amount of money needed for the trip and what it will cover

- The place or places you are going to visit

- Dates for the trip and the deadline for paying the money

- The type of transport going to be used

- Greetings to other relative

SECTION B

Read the following passage and answer questions that follow in good English

We meet Dan Yaro A man climbed quickly up the small rocky hill called Dutsen Kura. When he
reached the top, he stood still for some minutes. He looked carefully around him.

He was a short man with broad shoulders. His face was ugly. His eyes were as hard and as cold as
stones. His mouth hung open. But although he was so ugly, he was well dressed. He had a new suit
of clothes and on his feet he wore long, pointed shoes. He had a fine big watch. This watch must
have cost a lot of money.

Looking down towards the town, the man saw some sheep. They were moving slowly, eating short
grass which grew besides the railways line. A train was coming into sight. It moved slowly past the
sheep towards the town of Muria. The town was build near the foot of Dutsen Kura.
