Are staycations better than vacations?

If you’re going on a holiday, and need a break, it’s essential to have the financial resources.
Mostly, the decision you make for your soothing holiday is based on your financial status, it
really just depends if you financially can afford to leave or stay in that particular place.

If you’re running low on a budget, a staycation will always cut your worries and it also saves a
lot of your money to pay your bills. It has become the most popular alternative to vacation
travelling. This is most likely because staying at home for the holiday is much cheaper, safer,
and easier. It wouldn’t be as much fun as exploring new places, tasting new cuisines but you
could pamper yourself into pure relaxation. Though a vacation is exciting and gives you a sight
of beautiful sceneries a place has to offer, they are often a bit stressful towards the beginning
to the end. Packing, booking flights, hotels, planning sights to see, surviving the crowd and also,
the language barrier (if you’re in a foreign country), is a big stress out. However, during a
staycation, you allow yourself to completely unwind. The good thing that will also benefit you is
getting around the area. Since, you know the area, there’s no getting lost, or following your
GPS, you don’t even have to pay extra for taxi or bus stops.

If you however, are in good financial status, depending on where you want to go, you should
explore the unknown, experience different things, such as, the culture, local cuisines, multi-
racial individuals, and the unique atmosphere of places you visit whilst on vacation, they’re
more memorable. We want to escape entirely from our used-to surroundings and find out
more about different places. Unlike a staycation, it gives limited options on how to do that,
because of our financial needs and how we normally are around the same group of people
we’re familiarized with, as for vacations it somehow brings different people together, from
various cultures and backgrounds. It’s a chance to get to know others better and to learn to
adjust to new traditions and other people’s lifestyle, not only relaxation.

In conclusion, I’m sure everyone loves to have a vacation at some point in their life. Yet, not
everyone is fortunate enough to take trips abroad. So with this being said, we make plans for a
staycation, it’s easier, fun, less stress and it helps saves your money. But for those whose
pockets can’t contain the space, you can burn that cash as you explore and go beyond borders
to a place you have longed to see, at the end of the day, it’s all worth it, if planned properly. I
highly recommend saving your money and get a good layout of where you want to go and stay.
It’s nice to leave some cash out since you’ve worked hard for it and deserve your share. My
advice to you is to think twice before you pay. Remember, vacations are still possible if you are
planning every step of the way to avoid financial difficulties, therefore, you should go on
vacation.
