    BALLOON ROCKET

    SCIENCE EXPERIMENT
    Materials
    1. Balloon
    2. Straw
    3. String
    4. Adhesive tape

    Procedures
    1. Tie one end of kite string to a chair, door or window
    2. Take a straw
    3. Take two pieces of adhesive tape and place it on the straw
    4. Pass one end of string through the straw
    5. Tie another end of string to a distant object (it may be at the horizontal level or at
    some height)
    The string must remain tight after tying both ends
    6. Blow your balloon
    7. Keep your balloon’s mouth close by pinching it between your thumb and finger, so
    that balloon’s air should not release, you must not tie end of the balloon
    8. Stick your balloon at 2-3 spots on the straw using the adhesive tape
    9. Now your balloon rocket is ready to launch
    10. Release your balloon, it will propel on string as a rocket.
