Workshop.

The idea is to investigate a concrete case and relating the investigation to the scientific theories and
research that have been addressed in the first lectures.

Please use the scientific language in your investigation. It will help you to be familiar with the ideas

The process will help you to understand the importance of the testing of validity of material. And it will give
you a manual to bring in consideration when you are choosing evidence in your projects in the future.

The theme is “Matchfixing in your country”.

Find at least three different types of material about the issue.

Please analyze the material according to the key issues you have been presented for in the first lectures.

 Identify the philosophy using the 4 slides with the –“isms” i.e ontology, epistemology, axieology
and data collection. Eventually bring the last slide in Part II.
 Analyze the material in relation to deductive or inductive approach
 Discuss the strategic approach in the material or literature.
 What type of data/dokumentation is the most used in the material? (primary/ secondary,
theoretical or empirical, qualitative or quantitative??)

Can you find material that is based upon the material you have found??
