No one in this world is truly good. We admit that every one of us do evil things. If we
disobey the Ten Commandments most specially when we act like an innocent that would be
considered as doing evil things. In most cases, we do evil things because we are experiencing
poverty, we are influenced by people who surround us, we feel envy to others’ blessings and
achievements and also if we feel excessive obsession on the things that we wanted.
Poverty is one of the major problems that the world is facing right now. In the
Philippines, twenty one percent of the Filipinos is under the poverty line (as per Philippine
Statistics Authority), wherein most of them are incapable in providing the needs of their family.
Some of them, in order to get enough money, they're doing crimes such as car napping, robbery,
drug dealers, and murdering that is happening in our country nowadays. They are doing these,
because they are too desperate to get money as their financial income to sustain all the needs of
their family. Drug dealers can make good people to do evil things because if there’s no one
involved in any drug related activities, they avoid doing crimes. Drugs have a big impact on
human body and brain. It can often us to think clearly and make good decisions, but if the use is
uncontrollable you may struggle to control your actions and thoughts. We can do dumb or
dangerous things that could hurt ourselves or the other people around us.
Influence is one of the reasons why good people doing evil things. If we look at the
generation today, most of the millennials use profanity words as their typical expression when
they get hurt, they get upset, or they get exhausted. As a result, it can affect other people's
feelings because sometimes the result became a judgement. Also, it’s easy for them to cheat, not
only in the school assessments but also in others feelings. At their young age, they start to enter
the relationship without a limit; they do things that the married couple does. We lived in this
generation were modern influences from social factors and online platforms are in, were the
issues and news are so easy to spread. Because of this, their thought that the unacceptable
behavior is just a normal thing and they do not change it because they see it to others.
Enviousness is one of the causes why good people doing evil things most especially in
political aspect. Maybe the success of others is against for us that having a negative effect to our
