This Deed, Made this 7th day of July A.D. 1891


by Lelia A. Callum & her Husband
M. K. Callum
of Guilford County and State of N. C., party of the first part,
to J. W. Harris of Guilford
County and State of N. C., party of second part,
WITNESSETH, That the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of
$650.00
Six Hundred & Fifty Dollars,
to [blank] in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, have
bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain, sell and convey unto the said party of the
second part and
his heirs, a tract or parcel of land in the County of Guilford and State of
N.C. in High Point Township, adjoining the lands of
A. B. Smith, L. W. Harris and J. W. Harris
and others, and bounded as follows, viz:
Beginning at a Stone on Willows Brook
Street in the Town of High Point N. C.
J . W. Harris Corner running nearly West
1500 feet more or less with said Harris
line to A. B. Smith's line, Thence South
with A. B. Smith's line 220 feet to
a Stone, thence East 1500 feet more or
less to Willow Brooks Street, Thence
Nearly North along said street
220 feet to the beginning. Containing
all the land West of the Willow Brooks
Street conveyed to Lelia A. Callum in
the Will of R. W. Harris
To Have and to Hold The aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances
thereto
belonging, to him the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever.
And the said Lelia A. Callum & her Husband
M. K Callum
party of the first part doth covenant that they are seized of said premises in fee and have right to
convey
the same in fee simple; that the same are free and clear from encumbrances; and that they will
warrant and
defend the said title to the same against the claims of all persons whatsover.
In Testimony whereof The said party of the first part have hereunto set their hands
and seals the day and year above written.

do hereby certify that Lelia A. Callum and her Husband
M. K. Callum, grantors, personally appeared before me
this day and acknowledged the due execution of the foregoing deed of conveyance,and said
Lelia A. Callum being by me privately examined, separate and apart
from her said husband, touching her voluntarily execution of the same, doth state that she signed
the same freely and
voluntarily, without fear or compulsion of her said husband or any other person, and that she
doth still voluntarily
assent thereto. Therefore let the said deed with this certificate be registered.
