ESFCOM ENDORPHINS WITH MICHAELA

The weeks just fly by, dont they? Another virus, another antibiotic, another entertaining IPE! You all are so intelligent
and just FOUNTAINS of knowledge at this point! I know some times it doesn’t feel like it (trust me, I know), but as Dr.
Grossman tries to always remind us, we have already come so far. So keep up the good work! This week, I am stoked
beyond belief to compliment the person who just MIGHT be our #studyaids MVP (though there are some good good
runner ups), the amazing designer of our second look shirts, ADDIE BURTLE!

Anyone who has spent more than 1 minute talking to Addie or listening to Addie knows just how much they bring to
this class. You drop some serious knowledge bombs on us, Addie! As one of your classmates states “You are the
most ELOQUENT speaker I have ever met. Not only do you have a way with words to demonstrate your brilliance,
but you are the MASTER of analogies. Very helpful when learning difficult topics!” And this is not even mentioning
the amount of work you put in to school. “You do a lot of research on the topics you want to talk about. This allows us
to have conversations based on the facts, because you tie in the data so well.” Anyone who has been with Addie in
CBL, APM, or EBM, knows that the conversation will be that
much more engaging, that much more in-depth! Thank you for
all that work you do.

Now, while they may make jokes about being the oldest in the
class, I can only dream to accomplish as much as they have in
as few of years. Addie has already lived multiple amazing full
lives, Documentary filmmaking, basically being a famous
slack liner, getting a masters, and just being an all around
valuable person. I can easily say that co-leading the LBGTQI
group with Addie (and Ethan!) has been such an amazing
experience for me, as they already come with so much
knowledge and have so much passion for those
underrepresented and oppressed. I cannot wait for the change
they are inevitably going to create, wherever they decide to
go. I should rephrase that. Wherever is lucky enough to get
them.

We love you, Addie!
