significantly reduce the bullwhip effect.

Seven Eleven chose trucking as their shipping
system. Perhaps flexibility is a major consideration,
considering that Seven-Eleven has many stores in
one particular area, which is part of their dominant

drive down and improve delivery reliability and
speed, Sevel is using Transfleet services to provide
trucks.
Distribution
Sevel manages incoming material by increasing
the frequency of shipments and optimizing
distribution centers. At the distribution center,
shipments of similar products from different
suppliers are directed to trucks that have a single
shuhu control. All shipments are carried out during
off-peak hours and work according to a trust
system. This strategy dramatically reduces
shipping costs and enables fast delivery of a variety
of fresh foods.
In addition, Sevel seeks to optimize the outbound
flow of products by establishing 7dream in 2000.
Sevel utilizes an existing distribution system so
that the products they sell are easily accessed by
most Japanese customers.
