1. Introduction
Quite contrary to the popular perception,
compliance to the Environment Health and
Safety (EHS) regulations is not only required by
companies certified to ISO 14001:2015 and
OHSAS 18001:2007 /ISO 45001:2017 (FDIS) but
for reducing the business risk for any
organization.
It has always been a challenge to those
personnel, who are responsible to ensure
effective compliance to the applicable
Environmental and Health & Safety legal /
legislative requirements in an organization.
There is always a gap in terms of applicable EHS
Legal Requirements and its compliance.

The aim of the course is to provide a concerted
and comprehensive training on legal
requirements on environment, health and safety
domain based on ISO 14001 and OHSAS
18001/ISO 45001 (FDIS) Management Systems

5. Methodology & Certification
A judicious mix of class room presentations,
exercises, group discussion, case studies and
hands-on practice will be used. Participants will
be encouraged to relate the learning to live
situations.
Participants who successfully complete the
continuous assessment during the course and
also the written examination conducted on
2ndday of the course will be issued a certificate
by FICCI.

training, auditing and consultancy on
management systems standards, quality control
and third party assessments. Mr. Kumaran is a
Mechanical Engineer who has served in
manufacturing industry for 18 years and for past
20 years he has been disseminating knowledge
as a trainer and consultant in the fields of
