Sticky Notes are fantastic to use in your scriptures. When you study there just isn’t enough room
in the margins to make all the notes you’d like. Using Sticky Notes gives you additional space to add
comments, references, quotes, or whatever you want, to your scriptures. And because they are in
color, they quickly draw your attention. Elder Bednar uses them in his scriptures. (click here to see)
Here are some examples. Here are some outstanding tips on how to use Sticky Notes as a helpful tool
in your personal scripture study.

The following explains the different parts of a Sticky Note. This Sticky Note has been printed, but you can just write
on one.
C Title. A title isn’t necessary, but can be a quick reminder of what’s on the Sticky Note.
D IP# & MS#’s, eF#, Date. These numbers are optional. The IP and MS numbers come from
ScriptureKIT Book 1 Information Pages (IP) & ScriptureKIT Book 2 Cross Referencing System
(MS). The ScriptureKIT books contain insightful information and a unique cross-referencing sys-
tem for the entire LDS Standard Works. eF#s reference Bruce Barton’s ezFIND!- a computerized
database for everything you own. The date will let you know when you added this Sticky Note.
E Body. This is your content (explanation, personal thoughts, quotes, stories, etc).
