Shannon Elaine Smith

Introduction: Welcome and in this book I am going to

explain the fundamental’s of video editing. You probably

bothered by all the DVD editing software on your desktop

but here in this book I am going to point out the positives

and negatives of video editing. Not to freak out or worry

you will get another updated version of this book with all

the in’s and out’s. This is my first time writing a booklet

on video editing. Yes I am creating an updated version of

this book called Video editing edition 2. I find that people

like to explore new topics and DVD authoring and video

editing are two of my favorite topics. Here in this book

you will find links to websites and author comments. My

book will blow you away and you will keep a copy on your

bookshelf for keep’s sake as in forever. Many author’s

have written books on these popular topics and people do

want to educate others and do the exact same thing as I

am doing to you and other people. Hope you will find this

book as a helpful resource.

Section 1: Popular Video Editing Software Apps

Sometimes you can find a video editing app on your cell

phone and play around with the app.

 Title and Text

 Cool effects

 Background music

Author’s Comments: I find that downloading an app is

worth the hassle and have to play around with the app in

order to get your videos to work in the correct format.

just have fun with the video app.

Section 2: DVD menus

 You shall enjoy DVD menus and other items that are

in the program on your desktop computer.

 I find that different styles are eye catching and fun

to explore.
 I also find that if you play around with the software

you will have fun and create a movie or eye catching

video for friends and family.

 DVD menus were meant to be edited and played

around with in the program.

 I find that different & popular video software is

important and very, very fun to make you happy.

Author’s comments: Please do explore video editing

software and programs whenever you get a chance to and

soon enough you will have a video or movie played onto your

computer to entertain family; friends.

Section 3: Windows Media Player

 Windows media player was meant to burn videos and

movie clips onto a blank DVD.

 You can drag and drop your files and burn them

directly from the program onto a DVD.

 Every video must be edited and final preparations

must be done.

 If your editing software isn’t working then use

windows media player to burn a collection of videos

and movie clips onto a DVD.

 There are different video software program’s that

allows you to import your movie clips into the program

of your choice. Example: Burning Studio 20

 I also find that each clip is very important when

importing and finalizing the project.

 If you make a mistake then go back and redo or edit

the clip. Cut out the parts you do not want.

 Also be careful editing.

Section 4: Converting video to DVD

 If you download a video from YouTube website and

convert it to a DVD then you are good to go.

 Convert means copying a file and burning it to a DVD

and watching it on a TV or computer.

 I can tell you that burning a video is the fun part of

the process and finalizing the project on your

computer is very fun & exciting.

 Sometimes you want to double check your video in the

correct format including blue ray.

 High definition is also very popular format when it

comes to formatting a video and DVD

 I feel as if that videos are a part of life and having

popular software to have is the best thing ever.

 I do enjoy burning a video to an DVD from my laptop

computer ever once in awhile.

 I have also found out that burning and editing is on

the internet and important resources you will find.

 Try using Google search engine and you will get a ton

of results in minutes. Try narrowing your search with

key words such as editing and DVD.

 Google is the best search engine compared to others.

 Try using an online resource as an online library.

 All DVD’s are different.

Section 5: Downloading your videos

 If you have an program that lets you download

videos and transfer them to your computer then

you are in good shape.

Author’s Comments

 There are tons of YouTube videos that will teach

you editing and burning a video to an blank DVD.

 Please use common online resources like Google or

Duck Duck go search engines.

 From what I researched I have succeeded in

finding that resources and downloadable guides

are very helpful and you can keep a copy on your

desktop.

 If you do not understand a video then go back to

your guide and it will tell you how to use the

software and editing software either on your

laptop; cell phone or desktop computer.

 Useful guides help us understand the basics of

video editing software.

 I feel as an author of this booklet will help you in

many ways.

 DVD-R is better and holds more storage then a

CD.

 All editing software is different and you have to

play around with it.
