After finding out she's adopted, Rachel Bruce travels to the US, from Britain in order to find
out more about her birth parents and track them down.

Rachel meets an ex-con at a bar and finds out he may have someone who can help her on
her journey but will require Rachel to do something in return. Rachel meets up with the man
in question and takes the job.

Rachel is set up for a crime she did not commit and is sentenced to life in a maximum
security prison.

Michael Schofield and Lincoln Burrows receive a letter which makes them question the real
identity of Rachel Bruce. The brothers attempt to uncover gruesome secrets.

While Rachel is in prison, she befriends her cellmate by the name of Mother Mary.
Desperate to get out, Rachel starts thinking of a master plan to escape but in return gathers
attention from other inmates, who rather see Rachel dead.

Michael is stumbled when his leads turn up empty and Lincoln meets with Rachel, to find out
why she's here.

Rachel finalises her escape plan but all fails when an enemy stops her in her tracks.

After receiving information from Rachel at the prison visit, Lincoln decides to help find
evidence to prove Rachel is innocent.

Rachel picks a day to escape, with the help of her cellmate. Rachel gets a strange apology
from her enemy.

Michael and Lincoln meet up with a witness who doesn't want to go to court and testify
Rachel's innocence.

Michael and Lincoln visit Rachel in prison and notify her of a possible witness.

Rachel attempts to get her cellmate to escape with her but finds out, Mother Mary doesn't
have long left to live.

Hours before the escape, Rachel's enemy finds out she's planning an escape and decides to
give Rachel a peace offering at dinner, for good luck.
After escaping the prison, Rachel gets her ride to freedom. Inside the Prison, cell count is
happening and they find Rachel gone and her cellmate, dead. The alarms are turned on.

Michael and Lincoln hear of an escape on the news and drive to the prison. Michael tries to
find which way Rachel went.

Rachel, who is now on the run, starts to feel sick. Blood runs from her mouth and she falls to
the ground on the road.

Moments later, the brothers find Rachel and take her back home. Sara Schofield, Michaels
wife, attempts to save Rachel's life. It is found that Rachel was poisoned.

Sara manages to save Rachel with the help of a friend, who questions whether he should be
helping an escaped convict.

Rachel talks with Michael and Lincoln about what she's looking for. Lincoln does some more
digging and finds out the truth. Lincoln tells Michael about the truth and the brothers decide
to inform Rachel of what they found.
