CORONAVIRUS COUNTRY SPECIFIC TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS (CW39)

Dear Valued Partners,

Due to the developing global coronavirus situation, a growing number of governments have issued entry
restrictions for passengers meeting certain criteria.

The following commercial waiver policy may be applied to passengers unable to travel due to country
specific entry and transit restrictions.

As for today, the countries that have imposed the travel restrictions are as follows :-

SARAWAK, MALAYSIA
SINGAPORE
SRI LANKA
HONG KONG
TAIWAN
AUSTRALIA
MYANMAR

VIETNAM
BANGLADESH
SHANGHAI
GUANZHOU

CORONAVIRUS COUNTRY SPECIFIC TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS (CW39)

The following Travel and Ticket criteria must apply for passenger to be eligible for re-accommodation under
this waiver :

• Ticket must be issued on or before: 06 March, 2020


• Ticket issued for travel dates: 05 February, 2020 to 30 April, 2020
• Revised/alternative travel date must be on or before 31 August, 2020 and subject to flight availability.
• Only tickets impacted by the specific government restriction for the stated countries are eligible.

Re-Accommodation Options

Booking Options:

• One free change is permitted but revised travel date must be on or before 31 August, 2020 and
subject flight availability according to original O & D. The change fee may be waived for this one-
time change. However, any changes to original/destination/cabin which results in higher fare will
necessitate the difference in fare to be collected. Deferred travel/new travel date must be booked
in the original ticketed/booked RBD. Rebooking in the alternative RBD will result in the ticketed
fare being re-assessed and any additional fare amount being collected.

• NOSHOW fees will not be waived.

Cancellation/Refund Options:

• Cancellation & service fees are waived for partially used and totally unused tickets

a) Refundable Tickets – apply full refund back to original form of payment (FOP) or retain current ticket
value as a credit (EMD) for future travel

b) Non-Refundable Tickets - passengers may cancel their itinerary and retain the current ticketed value
as a credit (EMD), however, full refund back to the original form of payment (FOP) is not permitted

Endorsements

Subsequent reissued or revalidated tickets and rebooked PNRs must show the following endorsements:
‘CW39 Coronavirus travel restrictions’
