THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

Introduction

At other times, however, we are convinced that we already know what

the best solution is, so we make decisions quickly and don't consider all

the alternatives. You can avoid both of these situations by weighing up

the pros and cons of a decision – a simple but effective decision-making

strategy that allows you to look at the situation from different angles,

consider appropriate solutions, and make a confident choice.

The researcher will give an information to the youth of TCU Senior High

School Student and also will gathers information about the prps and

cons of marketing strategies.

The purpose of this study is to educate students about Business Marketing by

comparing traditional marketing approach and digital marketing and show the

pros and cons between them. And to find out what marketing tools are effective,

convenient, and profitable. We conduct this research not just because it is trendy,

has big role in Business moreover it is because we are involved in Marketing, in

our day-today basis

Background of the Study

The marketing strategy lays out target markets and the value proposition that will

be offered based on an analysis of the best market opportunities." (Philip Kotler &

Kevin Keller, Marketing Management, Pearson, 14th Edition) Strategy is a high

level plan to achieve one or more goals under conditions of uncertainty. The

reason why having a strategy is important is because it gives business time to

get a sense of how they are preforming, what their capabilities are, and if these

capabilities are able to help them grow and also it gives the business an idea

about what are the things they can do to help their profit increase.

Strategy is an essential part of a business, regardless of industry; a savvy

entrepreneur not only recognizes this but also allocates funds for this activity.

Basically strategy is creating awareness and publicity about your business, its

products, and services, with a view to getting people to purchase them. With

competition being intense and increasing with every passing day, marketing is

becoming even more crucial for a business who wants to stand out from the

competition.

However, in this day where so much business happens online, there could be

some confusion over which approach to take: traditional marketing vs. digital

marketing. Often, the budget is capable of accommodating only one of the two –

at least, most marketers think that way. Obviously, the best way to decide is to

work out which of the two will give you maximum returns for your expenditure.

The study aims to determine the LEFT of Taguig City University

specifically in Senior High School Students. Particularly, this study is

conducted to answer the following questions.

Scope and Limitation of the Study

The study is limited to the following scope:

The study will focus on the assessment of the Senior High School of

Taguig City University

The respondents of the study will be composed of estimated (285) Senior

High School students of Taguig City University. The timeframe of the study will

be from September to December 2019.

Significance of the Study

The findings of the study will benefit the following sectors:

Students. The findings of the study will help the Students in making good

decisions in !. The respondents are the center of the research because

ultimately they develop the awareness of themselves, strength, and weaknesses

for their career development by continually summarizing and reflecting upon what

they are learning from home, school, and community. In totality, students are in

charge of their own choice.

Faculty. The findings of the study will help the SHS faculty to provide new

information about the said topic.

Future Researchers. The findings of the study will help future

researchers to further extend the beginnings of the ABM study and reinforce the

lessons and exercises of each one comprising the Business program.
