Targets
• The proposed training shall focus on practical
training, aiming at providing all workers on the
risky area.
• In priority the training shall target industrial safety
officer, operators, supported by their technical and
financial teams.
• Other participants (such as consulting engineers)
are welcome to participate as well, as they may be
supporting the industries in selecting and
implementing solutions in the future, thus
contributing to the development of the industrial
hazard management and fire safety management
sectors.
Objectives
Suggested training objectives are:
• understand basic terminology for fire safety
• understand fire chemistry and fire
extinguisher
• understand the cause of fire hazard in the
work place
• Understand the types of industrial hazard
and their control measures
• Know the fire prevention measures
• Understand use ,selection, inspection and
preparation of fire extinguisher
