the shore every day, waiting for Malin Kundang.After years, her waiting came to an end when a luxurious
ship docked at the shore. A young couple in extravagant clothes stepped down from the ship. Malin’s
mother was sure that the young man was her son. She tried to embrace him, but he threw her away. He
didn’t admit the woman as his mother.Being denied and humiliated, Malin’s mother cursed her son. After a
moment, the luxurious was attacked by a hurricane and the cursed son turned into rock.

Text 2. Last Sunday, Jenny went t the circus with Eddy and Willy n their school
holiday. First, they saw the seals performance. The seals balanced themselves on
tires and rolled round the ring. There was a seal balanced on a stool with an
umbrella on its nose. After that, the trainer fed them fish. The next item was knife-
throwing act. Jenny was afraid to watch it, so she covered her eyes with her hand.
Not long after that, it was the lion’s act. It was the most exciting performance. The
lion jumped through burning hoops. Everyone held their breath when the lion trainer
put his head into the lion’s mouth. Finally, it was the clown”s act. Jenny and her
brother liked the clown best. They looked funny with their painted faces and baggy
costumes. One of them swung a pail at Jenny. She screamed ! Scraps of paper flew

temples because Wisnu temple was being renovated. On Friday morning we went
to Jogja Kraton. We spent there about two hours. We were lucky because we were
led by a smart and friendly guide. Then we continued our journey to Borobudur. We
arrived there at 4 p.m. At 5 we heard an announcement that the gate would be
closed. In the evening we left for Jakarta by wisata Bus.
