Kind attention invited to the above subject and references, let me inform
that,the construction of the flyover at Vyttila is in progress for which NOC was
obtained from NHAI ( from 347950.925 to 348725.525 of NH66 (old NH 47)) and the
drain work in this reach is progressing .But the existing drain connecting to the
new drain(in the service road) is very small in size and is in damaged condition
causing water stagnation at this point.

Now there is waterlogging in rainy reason in the service road / slip road in
front of “Gold Gym”(RHS) because of the damaged existing drain before the ch:
347950.925. To solve this problem we have to construct a new drain and to
connect the disposal point at RHS service road/slip road through the underpass
(ponnurunni)of ROB, Vyttila. In the previous monsoon the logged rain water which
contain sewage entered in nearby houses near Ponnurunni-Vyttila
underpass.Hence public agitation occurred and they continuously demanded
construction of drain in this area in order to avoid further difficulties in the coming
monsoon. Hence construction of drain is proposed and Administrative Sanction is
got accorded from the chief Engineer, PWD , NH , on 30.03.2020 vide above ref (1)
cited Thriruvanathapuram and is under tendering process.For inviting tenders NOC
is required from that office.
Hence I request that necessary action may please be taken from that
office to give permission (NOC) to construct the drain from Ch: 347950.925
towards north and to connect the disposal point at RHS service road/slip road
through the underpass (ponnurunni)of ROB, Vyttila.which in under the
jurisdiction of your office.
