INTRODUCTION

from breaking mirrors to hanging lemon and chillies, India is a country

of diverse culture and tradition, as well as of a lot of superstitions. we
see them all around every day. besides of that, each person is unique-
sometimes more than we think. even though we all have the same
number of limbs and similar features, some small details make everyone
an x-man of sorts .we know our body is weird & as well as fascinating.
however, there are features, just as fascinating, and super rare that only
handful of us truly possess them. features like two differently coloured
eyes, the golden blood, have extremely dense bones and many more
fetures. psychology is the scientific study of the mind and the way of
people behave. and in criminology, it’s the scientific study to understad
crime, criminal behavior and criminal justice system. we all have a
different perspectives towards our mind set or beliefs. its how someone
perceive things in his/her mind through cource of many things such as
background, beliefs, education, thoughts, ideology etc.in the title we talk
about psycho- criminological perspective, which suggest when a person
perceives his/ her surrounding with mental understanding of matter,
through his/her conditioninig and either sees toward with deviant
mindset and which cause criminalization of particular matter.in this case,
when someone have different kinds of physical attributes people
other than him look at him with their rigid mind set, their psychological
understanding and their mind pattern and discrimination occurred and
hatred prejudice involved, which leads to deviant thoughts and it can
results in crime which we are going to understand in this assignment.
DESCRIPTION
 the subject we study most profitably today are those which are
approached from a standpoint of evolution. if science had never
accomplished anything else, all its painstaking work would be justified
in the evolutionary way of looking at things, which it has developed. it
has invested the drist of dry subjects with a new charm, for nothing is
the whole field of education can long remain dull, when viewed in this
search light of origin, history & development. it seeks to know how
things came to be as they are, what they were in the past and what they
shall become in the future. from superstition and mysticism, there has
slowly evolved these youngest of the life sciences.

 DEMONLOGY:
 there are many myths, stories and legends that we know about. they may
be the product of our imagination or be well crafted by our creative
mind. or maybe not? demonology is a very old discipline which
developed it self out of theology. existence of demons (evil beings) only
confirms a fact that god exists.

 demonology is unfortunately a borderline science. this essentially means

that modern science will never accept any explanation that involves
nonmaterial or spiritual forms of evidence. officially, any crime that
involves demonic possessions may be qualified as an insanity.
psychiatrists are those who at a request of the court make a diagnosis
and prognosis about a persons sanity or insanity.

 modern science tends to rationally and materially explains connections

of crime and demonic possessions. main reasons are lawmaker requests
for a legal form of evidence. evidence can be statements of witnesses,
victims or perpetrators. those statements get theirs form of evidence in
court records and usually are backed by consistencies with material and
circumstantial evidence or facts as well as with high credibility of
persons who gave those statements.

 the relation between science and demonology is best described as a "hot

ice." ice can't be hot, and science can't accept spiritual explanations.

 many police officers and crime investigators may have encountered

perpetrators who have claimed that they committed their crimes under
some demonic influences. perpetrators may claim, but none of them
produced any physical evidence. it is very odd to have two accepted
scientific disciplines like theology and forensic sciences claiming the
opposite.

 criminology as a science looks out on these matters from a cultural and a

legal perspective. the legal perspective includes forensic psychiatry and
psychology, while the cultural perspective includes systems of values of
some ethnic group or nation.

 for an example, there are still some ritual practices among the tribes on
the african continent that allow throwing of the first born male children
to the pigs. looking on it from our perspective, this is naturally a crime,
but among those tribes this is a tradition.

 . development of criminology theory starts with demonology around

5500 bc. according to some theorists, the first school of criminology was
the demonological school of criminology.

 "people commit crimes under demonic or evil influences."

 demonological explanation of crime was based on the mixture of
common logic and religious beliefs.

 Physical Characteristics:
 did you know that a human adult is made up of 7 octillion atoms? which
is 7,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,000 atoms! we're all different,
and yet a few of us have rare features that occur in only a few percent of
people.

 physical characteristics can include a variety of things. hairstyles and

facial features play a big role, but aren't the main ones. physical
characteristics are what you see with the naked eye. they encompass
anything you can describe about a person or group of people, just on
sight.

 this characteristics defines traits & features about your body. if you look
at someone the first thing you notice could be hair, clothes, nose, or
figure. in physical characteristics there are many sub parts like; build
characteristics, height characteristics, complexion characteristics and
hair characteristics.

 Sheldon’s Personality Theory:

• in 1940s, sheldon proposed a theory about how there are certain body
types(somatotypes) that are associated with certain personality
characteristics. he claimed that there are three such somatotypes
: endomorphy , mesomorphy , ectomorphy.

• endomorphic: an endomorphic somatotype is also known as a

viscerotonic . the characteristic traits of this somatotype usually includes
being relaxed, tolerant, comfortable, and sociable. psychologically, they
are also fun loving, good humoured, even-tempered, and they love food
and affection. the endomorph is physically "round". they have wide hips
and narrow shoulders that give a pear-shape. they tend to have a lot of
extra fat on their body and on their arms and thighs. they have skinny
ankles and wrists that make the rest of their body look even bigger.

• mesomorphic: the mesomorph is in between the endomorph and thin

ectomorph. they have an attractive and desirable body. physically, they
tend to have a large head and broad shoulders with a narrow waist. they
have a strong muscular body and strong arms and legs and little fat on
the body. they work for the body they have so that they could have an
attractive body. psychologically, the mesomorph is adventurous and
courageous. they are not afraid to break out and do new things with new
people. they are assertive.

• ectomorphic: an ectomorph is the complete opposite of the endomorph.

physically, they have narrow shoulders, thin legs and arms, little fat on
the body, a narrow face and a narrow chest. they may eat just as much as
the endomorph but never seem to gain any weight. they always stay
skinny. personality wise, they tend to be self- conscious, socially
anxious, artistic, thoughtful, quiet, and private. they always keep to
themselves and are a afraid to branch out .

o Sheldon’s motives : profiling psychologically based on physical features

is very unreliable but these observations tend to be true. these patterns
are noticed by society. most of society would agree with these with these
observations made by
sheldon;
 the original work of sheldon was used to characterize criminals.
 most of the criminals were mesomorphs because violent crimes were
usually committed by big strong men.
 it makes sense because according to Sheldon’s theory, people with a
muscular and attractive body tend to be competitive and want power and
dominance.
 this also proved that mesomorphic people are usually criminal in nature .

however, there are features, just as fascinating, and super rare that only
handful of us truly possess them. have a look at these some rare body
features and see if you have any:

1. TWO DIFFERENTLY COLOURED EYES :

• The condition is called ‘Chimerism’. It basically means that you have an
extra set of DNA which can lead to Mosaic skin or heterochromia - a
colour differentiation of eyes.
• Ancient Greek myths described the chimera as a creature with the head
and neck of a lion, the trunk of a goat, and a snake's tail.
• It remains unnoticed. Chimerism isn't dangerous, but it can cause family
problems. There was a case where a mother almost lost her children
because genetic analysis showed they weren't related.
• Some Native American cultures refer to it as "Ghost Eyes," they say that
a person with the disorder can see into heaven and Earth at the same
time, through each of their different coloured eyes.
• In religion, it is supposed to make someone sensitive to Angelic Gods.
• In witch craft, It is a sign of Witchery in many cultures.

2. LONG PALMAR MUSCLE:

This muscle is the "legacy" of our ancestors who used to climb trees. To
check if you have it, put your hand palm up on a flat surface. Touch your
little finger and thumb, and slightly lift them. If you see a ligament on
your wrist, you're the owner of a long palmar muscle. Don't worry if
you're not - it's useless in modern life.
3. INCREDIBLY DENSE BONES :

 Studying the gene LRP5 (responsible for the mineralization of bones),

scientists discovered mutations which cause diseases accompanied by
bone fragility. Yet there's another type of LRP5 mutation: it gives a
person super dense bones that are almost impossible to break and skin
that's less prone to aging. Although it sounds cool, there are drawbacks.
When an elderly patient needed a replacement for a worn-out joint, his
excessively dense bones didn't let doctors help him.

CASE STUDIES
1. Boy,13, with a ‘tail’ is revered as the reincarnation of a
‘Monkey-God’ by Hindus in Indian village A teenage
Muslim boy born with a one and a half foot long ‘tail’ is
reversed by Hindus in an Indian village who see him as an
incarnation of monkey god lord HANUMAN. Sohail
Shah,13, was born in a small village near Madhya-pradesh,
central india with a patch of thick hair on his lower back that
has grown long and matted together into a tail. His strange
growth has earned him the name of Bajrangi Bhaijaan – or
the god brother by the villagers. He is so popular that people
from far off villages flock to him every other day to be
blessed. They bring a bag full of fruits such as bananas and
mangoes for sohail in exchange for the blessings. The
schoolboy is also revered at school, particularly by teachers
who never scold him in fear of upsetting the God. It is
unclear why the boy has developed the growth, but it is
likely a result of a neural tube deformity. During the first
month of life, an embryo grows a structure called the neural
tube that will eventually form the spine & nervous system.
Sohail could have been born with a tail due to a neural tube
defect known as ‘spina bifida’ where the spine doesn’t
develop properly. Sohail himself says he enjoys the love &
attention he gets because of his tail and never wants to of cut
it off.

2. Indian farmer,74, has a four-inch ‘devil horn’ removed from

his head after it ‘ sprouted up following a head injury’ . A 74
year old Indian farmer has had four inch devil horn removed
from the top of his skull. Shyam lal Yadav, of Rahil village in
Madhya pradesh, suffered a head injury in 2014 which
reportedly led to the formation of rare cutaneous horn. The
begin growth, also referred to as devil’s horn , sprouted from
his head and over 5 years escalated to the point where it
towered above his skull. Mr Yadav had been getting the growth
shaven down by his barber for years. But the horn began to
grow aggressively, prompting the farmer to seek medical help.
The rare growths are made out of keratin, found in toenails and
human hair, and mostly occur in older adults. An operation to
remove the growth was performed at Bhagyoday Tirth Hospital
in Sagar city. Surgeon Dr Vishal Gajbhiye said: 'Around five
years ago the patient had hurt his head after which a lump
started growing. 'Initially, he ignored it as it did not cause any
discomfort. Also, he got the growth cut by the local barber.
'But, when the lump hardened and started growing further, he
approached the hospital at Sagar. 'As the horn is composed of
keratin, the horn can usually be removed with a sterile razor.
However, the underlying condition will still need to be treated.'
The farmer spent ten days in hospital recovering from the
surgery and a biopsy of the growth confirmed the horn as
harmless. The cause of horns is still unknown, but it is believed
that exposure to radiation or sunlight can trigger the condition.
Cutaneous horns (CH) occur due to a build-up of keratin, the
same protein that forms hair, skin and nails. Treatment focuses
on removing the CH. The surrounding skin may also be excised
depending on the nature of the lesion.

CONCLUSION
These are some case studies which can be found in news as secondary
source of information but there is more which was not covered by any
news media. For instance when person have more tooth and structure
of canine as found in animals whom can be seen as demons or such,
and when people have born with RH+ blood known as golden blood
seen as god and so on, but thing with superstition is that when
someone have different kind of physical structure so people around
him afraid of him and when they don’t have any knowledge they
compare all thing with sacred books and mythology and if any
attributes has such attributes they make him either god or demon they
don’t see it with scientific understanding or with medical term
actually they don’t want to, but real burden lies with that person,
he/she questioned his/her existence and get depressed, because he/she
is different people look at him/her with different look, he/she can’t
digest all of things which is happening around him and he comes in
existence crisis and sometimes people commit suicide too.in other
way when people known him as demon he was attacked by people
and try to get rid of and their discrimination lead to death of person
and even he was known as gods his life won’t be same because he
won’t be aware about of his physical condition and also have mental
issues. In any way positive or negative people shouldn’t be
discriminated not on ground of different body structure and all one
have a right to live as everyone is living.
