6. PRO CESS FLUID

6.1 General

The Terminal should be able to handle Bunker fuel grades like and IFO 180, MGO and Automotive Diesel.
ISO 8217:2012 specification shall be followed for IFO and MGO.
Above mentioned Bunker Fuels are Class-III products as per IP-15, 3rd Edition July 2005.

Bunker Fuel Properties:

Fuel Oil

IFO 180 940-970 (991 max) 180 @ 50 deg C

Gas Oil

MGO (Marine Gas Oil) 800-890 1.5-6.00 @ 40 deg C

Diesel Fuel Oil Properties:

Description Density (Kg/m3) @ 15 0C Viscosity (cSt)

Automotive Diesel 800-920 3.5 at 40 °C

Following products are considered as Clean and Dirty Fuels:

Dirty Fuel Fuel Oils, IFO 180

Clean Fuel Marine Gas Oil (MGO) Diesel

7. FACILITY FUNCTIO NAL REQ UIREMENTS

The Duqm Port Fuel Terminal is capable of importing, storing and exporting fuel oil grades at a time, for
several different organizations.

The terminal will serve primarily the bunkering market, the international trading markets and the local
diesel markets. Diesel, Fuel Oil and Gas oil, will be received.

OOMCO as owner will retain overall responsibility for both the operation and maintenance of the terminal
facility.

The principal modes of Terminal operation will be:


• Tanker unloading into the Storage Facilities (IFO &MGO)
• Tanker loading from the Storage Facilities (IFO & MGO)
• Barges loading from the Storage Facilities (IFO & MGO)
• Barges unloading into the Storage Facilities (IFO & MGO)
