about their idols.

The intended audiance for
this book display is high
school students, the books
displayed will be biographies,
and books written by athletes.
This can be modified to fit an
elementary library, however
the book selection would be
less novels and biographies,
and more graphic novels and
picture books about sports in
general.
 DO I HAVE YOUR
ATTENTION?
In order to get students attention I would use pictures/posters of
current athletes, and past legends, from various sports. This would
get students gathering around to see what this display is about.
This type of display can be motivating and inspiring to students as
it shows a new side of an athlete, it shows an athlete as an author.

THIS DISPLAY CAN BE USED AT

ANY TIME DURING THE SCHOOL
YEAR!
I would personally use this display in the new year, when
students are often motivated with resolutions and
wanting to better themselves, these books can be very
encouraging and uplifting!

For my display I would incorporate books
like the ones in the previous slide, and
also if I had a locked up area like a
showcase, I would add sports equipment
and jerseys if possible to make it more
eye-catching!
