The process

 For rack and barrel plating

 Robust process with large operating window:

‒ Agitation: Air, mechanical or eductor agitation for rack plating

‒ Temperature: 20 – 45 °C

‒ pH: 5.0 – 5.3

‒ Current density : 0.5 – 1 A/dm² for barrel application

2 – 6 A/dm² for rack application

‒ Voltage: 3 – 10 V for barrel appication

2 – 3 V for rack application

‒ Deposition rate: 15 µm/h at 1 A/dm²
