TITLE OF THE CASE: “ Lungsod ng Pasig Umaagos and Pag- Asa"

VIEWPOINT:

Pasig local government had been busy in the pandemic COVID19. They’ve done lots of
work for the safety and security of the town. The local government also praised for the mass
pro doings during this pandemic days. All of the local government is facing the same problem
on how will they keep safe their constituents on not being hungry inside their houses additional
to the fact that lots or mostly of minorities has a problem with their no work, no pay as well as
the middle class. So how can they provide and protect their constituents within the scope of
their power as a local government unit? And how will they usefully use those powers that
vested on them by national government as well as the people that gave them those powers led
them?. The researcher would like to provide some data to prove the efficiency of the Pasig.

TIME CONTEXT:

March 17, 2020

 LIBRENG SAKAY for the front liners especially health workers and for the people
that needs to buy some stock of foods and medicine.

March 18, 2020

 500 disinfecting kits were distributed to the city’s 30 barangays.

 The local government has also installed sanitation tents outside its city hall and two
public hospitals.

March 19, 2020

 Pasig City has deployed disinfection drones to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
 Amid the Luzon-wide quarantine where mass public transportation is banned the
city chief provided Earth-friendly shuttles to help frontliners get to work.

distributed to poverty-stricken communities in Pasig City.

March 24, 2020

 They launched the MOBILE PALENGKE to encourage residents to stay home
amid the lockdown. Instead of heading to the market, Pasigeños can directly buy
fresh produce from the "Mobile Palengke," a roving cargo truck that sells bigas,
vegetables, and meat every morning. According to the mayor, this could help
"reduce the [number] of people in Pasig Mega Market and talipala." At the same
time, it's able to sustain the income of market vendors since all the goods that
are being sold on the roving truck are from the Pasig Mega Market.

March 26, 2020

jeepney, tricycles, and UV Express vans whose sources of income are affected by
