FEATURES
Leve!
Accuracy is not affected by modérate out-of-level
working surfaces. The three point stance will pre-
vent rocking.
Tare
The locking tare poise assists ¡n repetitive weighings.
The extra large capacity will compénsate for the
weight of containers up to 2,270g (5 Ib.). The small
vernier tare poise permits rapid fine balancing of tare.
It is spring loaded to prevent accidental movement.
Magnetic Damping
Service free magnetic damping speeds the weighing
process by rninimizing oscillations. It is unaffected
by temperature extremes.
Balance Indicator Dial Píate (2356-00)
This device permits front and rear loading with
parallax-free readout.
Corrosión Resistant
Extensive use of stainless steel and baked epoxy
enamel on exposed parts offers good protection in
hostíle environments.

Care & Maintenance

The followíng practices will assure that your Heavy Duty
Solution Scale will give you years of satisfactory and
trouble free service.
1. When not ¡n use, remove any load from the scale
píate and place the slotted weights on the weight rack.
Also slide one of the poises away from zero so that the
balance ¡s not ¡n equilibrium thereby stopping the bal-
ance from oscillating and preventmg unnecessary wear.
2. Use and store the balance ¡n places free of vibra-
tion, which can cause unnecessary wear.
3. Keep the balance clean at all times, being parti-
cularly careful not to let dirt accumulate ¡n the
vicinity of the bearings. Never use oil or any lubricant
on the knives,or bearings. Lubrication will reduce the
sensitivíty and accuracy of the balance.
4. Occasionally, ¡t will be necessary to clean accumu-
lated debris from the magnet faces in the base of the
Trig-Loop Post Assernbly. Inserí a piece of adhesiva
backed tape into the magneí slot ¡nto which the damper
vane entends. Press the tape agaínst the magnet
face with a thin strip such as a ruler. Dirt or mat-
netic partióles will adhere to the tape when removed,
freeing the movement of the aluminum damper
vane.
