a)
1)Semi Circular Arches. It can be build as the main entrances for hotel. Besides, it also can
made hotel room’s door and this arches can be the design. The main entrances’s idea come
from like photo 1 and the pattern of hotel’s room come from photo 2.

2)Gothic Arches. Like the the vaulted ceiling utilised the technology of the pointed arch to
spread force and weight from upper floors. This provided the impression of height, grandeur
and elegance of hotel. The distribution of force within the vaulted ceiling enabled vaults can
be interior design and built in the hotel. The design idea is come from the Malbork Castle, in
Poland.

3) Flat arches. It can be built in any building and it can be made by any materials like
combination of a steel and concrete. Besides, it also the basic arches for any buildings and it
can afford more load than others.
b)
1)Double scaffolding. It is secure because there had two rows of scaffolding are use and the
putlogs supported safely. It make sure the safety of workers. The double scaffolding suitable
to use for the hotel because it had 30 floors. It can afford the loads such as materials and the
workers safety. It does not require any holes to the support structure, and it has less repair
work and clean up when the construction done.
2) Cantilever scaffolding/truss out scaffolding. This kind of scaffolding usually use to hotel
outside painting. The span length can be longer and it just need to support by one side of each
cantilever.
3) Steel tube frame scaffolding. It is easy to install and it is safety for workers and can be use
in another construction building. It can be build up with very high like this hotel. It can be
build up with other scaffoldings. It can support heavy loads like workers and the materials.

C)
I choose the spiral staircase. First, we need to consider the design and factors like the height
of the vertical rise of the staircase, the angle rotation of the staircase, the diameter od the
staircase.
