MentalPhotographyt

It is very important to do Relaxation Sessionstwice a day. Do one prior to breakfast and


one within an hour before going to sleep. This technique involves two steps:

* Relaxing your body and mind


n Reprogramming your brain

Follow the proceduresbelow to completeyour relaxation/programming session.

1,. Allow 15 minutes for your relaxationsession.


2. Sit in a comfortable position. Uncross arms and legs, and loosen clothing. Relax your
lower jaw. Don't allow phones,people or pets to disturb you.
3. Gently close your eyes. Take two deep breaths (slowly inhale through your noskils for four
counts, hold for four counts, and exhale through your mouth for four counts).
4. Set your inner clock for L5 minutes. Tell yourself you will be back to a consciouslevel in 15
minutes.
5. Breathe smoothly and evenly. Tune in to your breathing. Concentrate on your breathing,
and becomevery aware of your breathing. Notice how it slows down and levels out as you
relax. Then you know you are in the state of Alpha. Now begin counting backwards, from
50 to L, saying the number as you exhale. Be sure to get to 1.
6. When you reach 1, give yourself the following suggestionsto ENHANCE YOUR MENTAL
PHOTOGRAPHING@:
a. My subconsciousseesevery word very clearly.
b. My fingers turn pages smoothly and evenly.
c. I recall everything I need from the book or material when I need it.
d.My concentration is enhanced by distractions, and locks in on the material I am
photographing.
7. After completing your suggestions or Programming, start counting forward from 1 to 5.
Upon reaching 5, you will open your eyes,feeling completely alert, refreshedand relaxed.
Remain sitting for 1'-2 minutes, staring into space. Slowly become phy-sically active,.again
by moving hands and feet and stretching. Then get up and quietly go about'yo.ul'activities.

1. Pleasesit at a table or desk. Sit, so that your book is at a comfortable height in front of you.

2. Turn the book upside down, with the front cover face down on the table.

3. Open the book to the placeyou want to start. In this case,open the back cover.

4. Hold the book with the right-hand side of the book flat on the table.

5. Hold the left-hand side of the book upright, with your left hand perpendicular to the table.

6. Tilt your head so that your eyescan seeinto the creaseof the book.

7. Look at the index finger on your right hand. There is a creaseat the underside, at the first
joint, from the tip of that finger. That creaseis usually the best and easiestplace where the
edge of the page fits as you lilt the page for turning.

8. Placeyour right hand on the right side page of the book. This is your starting position.

g. Turn the pages with your hand going in a clock-wise circular motion with the creaseof
your index finger.

10. Perform one turn of a page per second. This will expose2 pages of information each
second.

11. As you furn pagesat a rate of onceper second,you will be saying a cadenceto yourself at
one count per second. The cadenceis as follows:

pages both from front to back and back to front.

3. Open the book to the place you want to start.


4. Make sure the back cover of the book is flat on the table, with the top cover nearly
perpendicular to the table.

5. Tilt your head and point your eyesat the table in the vicinity of the book.

6 . Close your eyesvery gently and concentrateon your breathing. Becomevery aware
of
your breathing' As you concentrateon your breathing, notice that it slows down and levels
out as you relax.

7. As you relax,give the following suggestionsto your subconsciousmind:


a My subconsciousseesevery word very clearly.
b My fingers turn pagessmoothly and evenly.
c . I am able to locate any word I need after I photograph the Dictionary.

8. Open your eyes and stare toward the book as if you are staring off into space,or
as though
you are day-dreaming. Stare until you go out of focus, or uppio"imately 10-15seconds.
Stay aware of the four corners of the material to be photogriphed, but make your focal
point about a foot through or just past the book. Keep staiing, keep staring. just allow
everything to blur out.

9. Start turning Pages at2pages per second. Count inwardly at the rate of 1 count
per second,
and keeping that cadence,give the subconsciousmind suggestions.
