Settings menu
Contains items for controlling non-element specific se ngs as well as the behavior and display of the drawing environment.

Preferences Opens the Preferences dialog, which is used to set the units, colors, output types, and databases for

Grid Opens the Grid Parameters dialog, which is used to specify the grid spacing along the Y and Z direc ons
Op ons … and the Angle of rota on of the grid axes.

Grid Used to set or clear the display of the drawing grid in the View window.

Coordinate Used to set or clear the display of the coordinate axis.


Axis

Snap to Used to set or clear the snap to grid behavior, which provides drawing assistance by selec ng the nearest
grid grid point to a selected point in the View window.

Zoom In Used to increase the magnifica on in the View window.

Zoom Out Used to decrease the magnifica on in the View window.

Zoom to Maginifies a windowed area of the View window.


Region

Show All Decreases the magnifica on to display the extents of the overall dimensions.

Projec on This divides the View window into four views, with each view displaying a different projec on of the surface
model. The lower right hand corner remains the ac ve view for using the view controls, where the top le ,
top right, and bo om le views become the Plan, Side Eleva on, and Front Eleva on views, respec vely.
