INTRODUCTION: -
The proposed project is a smart appointment booking system that provides patients
or any user an easy way of booking a doctor’s appointment online. This is a web-
based program that overcomes the issue of managing and booking appointments
according to user’s choice or demands. This program offers an effective solution
where users can view various booking slots available and select the preferred date
and time. This system also allows users to cancel their booking anytime.
In the proposed system the doctors patients are brought to one platform will allow
patients to be more flexible they can register and search for the doctors basing on
the location the list of doctors will be shown and patient can book by selecting the
time slots and the admin will confirm the booking so everything is computerized an
done very fast which will save time.

OBJECTIVE: -
The program creates a web-based platform to create a online doctors management
system that manages all patient related information and provides emergency
information in critical situation. This will help the patients to book hassle free
appointment in an easier way. Through this program patients can book their
appointments in a quicker way rather than rather than going through lots of ads
that exists as an obstacle for the patients as they require quick action instead of
viewing unwanted advertisements in other booking sites.

1) New patients can fill up an online registration form giving all the details of
their illness, they are called for physical examination by the doctor on a
specified date.

2) After going through all the details, the admin will have the rights to confirms
the registration of the patient or rejects it.

3) All registered patients can book the appointments of the doctors. Doctors are
available for consultation only on specific days.

4) Users can book appointment and book their time slots within a simple and
easily accessible system

• Pages were full of animations so if a user try to book an appointment,

he\she has to bs on a good network, that means if a user tries to book
from a remote area then he\she may face some difficulties.
• Due to animation the home page consists of a large size and may requires
more data speed.
• To book an appointment there is no simple and easily markable links is
given, user must search that, it should be more convenient.

• The first thing that comes when we open home page is an dengue precaution
full page popup, that can be removed.
• Due to popup window and the animation the home page requires large size
and may requires more data speed.
• In the home homepage there is an ad of promotion of their mobile app that
is irrelevant at that point.

• There is a full-page projection of the medical college in the booking page

that can be set at the bottom position, booking should be given priority.
 • Home page consist of full-page advertisement.
• To book an appointment there is no simple and easily markable links is
given, user have to search it.

that is full of gallery images of promoting college, booking should be given
priority.

given, user have to search it. Link got mixed-up in between college images.
• The home page consists of at least 9-10 programs promotion banners. They
can be deprioritised.

MODULES OF THE PROJECT

ADMIN DATABASE MODULE: -

i) View users: -Admin can view the list of users that are using that
system for booking and can settle any payment related issues.
ii) Delete user: -Admin can delete user if any user wants to discontinue
from the system or wants to delete his/her account.
iii) Add doctor: -Admin can add any doctor if any doctor join into the
system.
iv) Delete doctor: -Admin can delete any doctor database if any doctor
wants to resign from the system.
v) Update doctor: - Admin can update any doctor’s database if any doctor
updates his/her professional stats.
vi) Cancel appointment: - Admin can cancel payment if any user wants to
cancel appointment after booking and payment.
vii) View payment: - Admin can view payment history of any doctor’s history
if any situation occurs regarding to payment.

SYSTEM DATABASE MODULE: -

 i) Registration: -In the system a user can create his/her account by
registring him/her in the database.
ii) Login: -After the registration, the user can login to his/her account to
do further specifications of the system.
iii) Appointment: -after the registration the user can book the appointment
of the patient with the doctor.
iv) Check status: -user can also check the status of the doctor weather the
doctor will be available on the following date or not.
v) List of doctors: -user can check the list of the doctors available in the
hospital with their details.
vi) Feedback: -user can also give the feedback of the system that can help
the database manager along with the engineer to improve the system.
vii) Contact us: -user can contact that admin if any situation occurs that is
out of the system limits.
