Project Description:

A point-of-sale system (POS) is a combination of software and hardware that allows a retail
establishment to manage all its activities from one place. Both can work together to keep track of all the
purchases performed at any store. The point-of-sale system (POS) is in responsible for managing all
purchases and sales in a company, and keeping track of inventory, personnel, marketing activities, and
other details.

The primary goal of any such system is to keep the company's data well-organized, well-
managed, and profitable. Workers will be able to work more efficiently and become more productive
because of this system.

Objectives:
Main Objective:
The system main objective is to Develop a cashiering system that is automated and would
minimize accounting errors. It needs to be fast, accurate and the accounting data can be updated
anytime. It must be efficient to increase cashiering productivity.

Included in the system is point of sales and inventory application to monitor sales
and the shops income data.

Specific Objectives:
1. To develop a user-friendly Computer system that can perform certain task.
2. To develop a program that can accurately record the financial records of the shop.

Proposed Project: Online Food Ordering System

Project Description:

Online food ordering is a process of ordering food from a local restaurant or food cooperative
through a web page or app. A consumer will look for a preferred restaurant, which is usually categorized
by cuisine type, and then select from the menu items that are offered.

Objectives:
Main Objective:
The main objective of the proponents is to create a food ordering system. One of the most
important in our economy is the online ordering system, which aims to provide an easy way for
customers to place an order at a restaurant over the internet.

Specific Objectives:
1. To develop a system that can add product listing and information into the ordering system.
2. To develop a system that would allow users to make an order as well as generate receipts.
3. To create a system that will guarantee client satisfaction.
4. To Create a system that can handle a large number of orders at once.
5. To evaluate its security, user-friendliness, accuracy, and reliability, as well as its acceptance.
6. To increase communication between the client and the server while reducing order processing
time.

Scope:
1. An account creation page and log-in form that will contain the basic information of the user and
staff to be stored for easy access whenever needed and verification of the users.
2. A database that can be easily accessed by the administrator of which all of the information will
be stored inside of it.
3. A design that allows the user to easily navigate the system.

Limitations|Delimitations:
1. The system is only to get very little information about users such as name, address, social media
account as well as phone number, and email.
2. The system cannot be used to communicate with a user.
3. Most payments will not be carried out by our system. Depending on the chosen M.O.P, via bank
or e-wallet.
4. The system will not process the user's order until he or she has paid.

Proposed Project: Art Gallery Management System

Project Description:

The said system is a gallery of which are full of artworks. In this system, anyone can view and
even upload their own work for them to showcase their created artwork. The system heavily relies on
the database it will be using, which will store the information of the users and also responsible for
storing the artworks uploaded.

Objectives:
Main Objective:
The main objective of the proponents is to design and develop a Art Gallery Management
System that will be helpful and beneficial. Art Gallery Management System is a system that enables
artist to upload their own piece of artworks and can be showcase with other artists and viewers.
This will greatly help small artists to be recognize in the world of art.

Specific Objectives:
1. To showcase the artworks of an artist.
2. To store the artworks that have been uploaded by the artists.
3. To allow people to find qualified artists of their choice.

Scope:
1. The Art Gallery Management System covers the showcasing of an artists’ portfolio.
2. The system handles the artist’s personal information.
3. This system secures and maintains the royalty of an artwork.

1. This system does not include selling or auctioning of artworks.
2. This system is limited only in the Web.
3. This system does not allow anonymity over the artworks.

Proposed Project: Payslip Receipt System

Project Description:

A payslip is a document that's given to an employee with each pay. It shows their total wages
earned for a set period. This might be from a salary, hourly wages or commission. Payslips also list tax
withheld and personal deductions made.

Objectives:
Main Objective:
The proposed project is intended to provide a user-friendly system that will compute the salary
of the employees and to provide a salary receipt with the details and salary breakdown of the
employee.

Specific Objectives:
1. To develop a payslip receipt system that serves as the proof of the salary that a person draws
from the employer.

Scope:
1. Categorizing of employee based on their status.
2. To know if the employee is contractual or permanent.
3. Importing of salary and Tax report.

Limitations|Delimitations:
1. Cannot be access by other employees.
2. Cannot be edited by the employee.
3. System should be checked and updated every month.

Proposed Project: QR Code Attendance System

Project Description:

The purpose of this project is to record students in and out the campus for the University to
have the record of every student if they got into accidents or not attend in class.

Objectives
Main Objective:
The main objective of the proponents is to develop a University Security record System that gets
the time record of every student when they arrive and leave the campus. They just swipe the QR code in
their id and let the system scan it and record the time.

Specific Objective:
1. To develop a system that can help the security guard to record every student that arrive and
leaves the campus
2. To develop a system that scan the QR code only to enter the campus
3. To provide an easier way for security guards when checking every student when entering the
campus
4. To minimize the time to check every student when entering the campus
5. To monitor how many students are now inside the campus

Scope:
The system can utilize the data and information of a student such as time and date of arriving
and leaving the campus, name of the student, section, student number and parents contact number.

Limitations
1. The system only gathers the specific data of the student.
2. The system only focuses on the time and date of a student's arriving and leaving the
campus.
3. The scope of this system is limited to Quezon City University.

Proposed Project: Task Management System

Project Description:

The way we spend our lives has altered as a result of technological advancements. Gone are the
days when everything had to be done manually; nowadays, even simple activities can be completed in a
more convenient and faster manner. One of these is to create a system that allows transactions
involving giving and monitoring tasks to be completed quickly and efficiently.

Objectives
Main Objective:
The main objective of this project is to design and implement a web-based Task Management
System that will improve the way employee get their work done by helping employees organize their
tasks and collaborate efficiently.

Specific Objective:
1. To develop a system that will allow employees to have an update about how to get done of their
given tasks.
2. To design a system that is very accessible by the users.
3. To develop a system that will improve the way employee get their work done.
4. To design a system that helps in organization of their task and collaborate efficiently.
5. To design a system that can easily create, assign and comment on tasks, so that an owner of task
can always know real time progress and who is performing it.

Scope:
1. The system will handle issues related to planning and management of task and project.
2. It will be confined to creation of users by the administrator, online task creation and assigning of
task to employee, with detail task description and provisions to upload and update files that
may be needed for task.
3. Deadline will be associated with task.
4. Collaboration will be possible through adding of comments among users that can participate in a
specific task.
5. Team involve in a task will be updated on status change on a particular task.

Limitations
1. The system does not include a conference or video calling integration
