As a concept, human behavior in the organization is not new. There is however, a problem in
understanding it. Some people put emphasis on human behavior, while others, on organization. As a
student of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior, how will you reconcile the
difference?

• Different human behaviors co-exist inside an organization, therefore, conflicts and


misunderstanding due to differences normally occurs.Based on what I learned from multi-
cultural diversity and human resource management, it is important that members of an
organization listen and talk about these challenges.Wider understanding play with your
coleagues plays an important role here. And as heads, managers should make decisions,rules
that is fair and just to everyone.

• Participation is an excellent method of resolving conflicts because through everyone’s


cooperation in solving a problem, more opinions and wider ideas are being heard.Each one’s
differences are understood and therefore addressed and solved.
