Head Marketing – Marketing and Communications

Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) is a leading Indian nature conservation organisation


committed to the service of nature. Its mission is to conserve wildlife and its habitat
and to work for the welfare of individual wild animals, in partnership with
communities and governments. WTI’s team of 150 dedicated professionals work
towards achieving its vision of a secure natural heritage of India, in six priority
landscapes, knit holistically together by nine key strategies or Big Ideas.

Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) invites applications from accomplished individuals with at
least 10 years of top-level marketing experience to take overall charge of its
marketing, communications and brand development strategies.

Who we’re looking for

As our Division Head – Marketing, you will have a deep understanding of traditional
and innovative marketing strategies, and a proven track record of creating
campaigns and initiatives that drive and increase fundraising revenue. You will have
the vision to seek out new promotional avenues to support fundraising and
programme objectives. You will have demonstrable experience in leveraging social
media for brand development. And, of course, you will have a passion for nature
conservation.

Qualifications and skills

 Masters in Mass Communication / Marketing / Branding


 Minimum 10+ Years experience
 Age between 30-45 years
 Must have past experience working with an NGO
 Must have headed teams in Marketing / Branding / Communications /
Campaigns

Broad responsibilities include

 Development and implementation of the brand, marketing and communication


strategies for the organisation
 Overseeing the implementation of said strategies through Digital Marketing,
Public Relations, Media Relations, Campaigns, Events and Social Media etc
 Aligning the organisation internally around its brand and marketing objectives
 Building and managing the marketing team and ensuring that strategic
objectives are implemented
 Providing lead technical and strategic input into projects under the marketing
vertical
 Conceptualising new projects, mobilising manpower and seeking financial
support for the continued sustenance of the projects under the vertical
 Ensuring strategic alliances with NGOs, government bodies and other
relevant organisations and individuals to realise project objectives
 Exploring and developing markets for products under Social Entrepreneurship
to generate revenues for wildlife conservation
