MODULE 1:

“I will show you a great nation, a nation will not be submerged, a nation that will emerge
victorious”. I may not be born in the time of Quezon but I adore his excellency. I may not be one
of the people who fight for our nation together with him but I am proud of what he would’ve
done. He wants to give us freedom. He let us enjoy and freeing humankind. He wants all of the
people who put faith on our own President. The man chosen by everyone, a man of our own flesh
and blood. He wanted to mold the fellow Filipino to grow and to let Philippines progress.
He said and always keep on saying when he’s still alive that,” I would rather have a government
run like hell by Filipinos than a government run like heaven by Americans”. I never expected to
read how he fight for our country. He is a hero who give freedom that we could give for
ourselves. The situation before is like what is happening here in the present. They put the blame
on our president without thinking. They are jumping into a conclusion without hearing the truth.
President Rodrigo is a great and strong leader, he’s like Manuel L. Quezon who consider Filipino
and its existence as their main concern.
I don’t think other politicians have the same mentality as our current president. He wants change
for the betterment of our country. He is also fighting for our country’s improvement, humans
right, freedom, and comfortability. Our country needs an intelligent leader, a leader who hear our
rants and unheard voices. Don’t think selfishly. We need him more he needed us. Appreciate
how great he is and accept who he is. He may speak profane words but he cared for us, he loved
us.
I want to be like them, not to be one of the leader of our country but to be a great person like
them. I looked up to them. They need our support and it is my pleasure to be one of their allies. I
am proud of what they have done even though many people are blinded by their mistakes. I want
to raise Philippines state as for now. All we can do is to be as one.
MODULE 2:
BEING A WOMAN

(1) She consider myself as one of the woman existing. From little girl to a lady with class and now,
slaying as a woman.
(2) She have plenty of friends. There is this someone who came into her life and ask on how to act
accordingly as a woman. That’s a time she asked herself what exactly a great woman is.
(3) She would like to travel back in the first woman exist in this world. How they act shyly. Smile sweetly
with the man dear to them -killer smile that man loved. She wanted to be a woman who stand firm on her
decision. She wanted to help who needs her in every circumstances and She want them to feel safe when
her around – Woman of Hope. A woman who is strong, don’t rely on someone. Don’t feel less on her
worth. Who ignores society’s judgement. Put God at the center of her life. Who lives obeying her parents-
family oriented. Take her responsibility well to lift up their state of life. Study harder in order for her
dreams to become real. Strive harder not to depend herself into others. Real woman who don’t envy
someone’s success. Speak less, worry less but love more.
(4) To be a woman is never easy. A woman who is serious in everything. Dealing with her own problem
smoothly. Every month feel the pain. Vibes with you. Never judge you. She can do both what man can
do. Never get angry, immediately. Easy to talk to. Comfortable with.
(5) I want to be a woman with dignity. A woman who is outrageously funny. Still looks pretty without
color on her face. If she is messy, she’s still look stunning. Who is attracted. Have a breathtaking beauty
with her almond eyes. Pointed nose, rosy cheeks, thin lips that color red, looks so sexily hot when
smiling. Walks gracefully with head held high but never judge someone. Almost perfect but she’s not
aware of how amazing she is.
(6) She loves to play Dog. She prefers to stay at their house. She is very happy at simple things. She hated
arguments because she easily cried. Don’t grow up expressing her own thoughts. She knows what’s best
and gives the best. She thought everything was all kind, less judgements, happier she is. She lives in
simple life. She dreamed high but never seen. She acts calmly even her was stressful. She thinks of
other’s sake than hers. She let them underestimate her. They hurt but she never hurt them back. She can
swallow her pride just to see you happy. She usually hides her true feelings. She wants to deal with her
mess, alone. She accepts criticisms. She judged herself rudely because it is more painful if it comes to
others. She loves herself but sometimes envy someone’s beauty. She has a unique beauty but never been
appreciated.
(7) Someday if she will become a woman, a great woman. She will love and appreciate her flaws. If
someday she’s grown as a woman, she will be a good role model to her family and to others. Not just a
little girl, who plays along nor a lady with a class and only knows how to be pretty.
(8) When She’s down, she won’t let you suffer too. Just go with the flow. She faced difficulties strongly.
Who can do both manly work and girly work. By the way SHE is me, who wish to be a woman. Who
wants to love herself, but it’s hard to be a woman.
MODULE 3:
Position Paper on “Covid-19 Mass Testing”
Should mass testing for covid-19 be pushed even for people without symptoms? Yes. Without
mass testing, coronavirus pandemic will keep spreading. Countries such as South Korea that test
thousands of people per day have slowed the outbreak, other nations and our country must adopt.
The only thing that matters is saving lives. Keeping all the people safe from the virus is the only
way of getting back to a normal life. Many doctors and medical experts insisted that they need to
conduct a test if we want to succeed in the fight against COVID-19. Our world really need to
expand the testing that the public demand needs. Doctors need and want to ensure the safety of
everyone.
House Bill No. 6707 will also create the “COVID Testing Assistance Fund (CTAF) to subsidize
testing of people belonging to priority and vulnerable sectors, including food handlers,
supermarket and public market vendors, house helpers, pregnant women, and worker at salons,
factories and construction sets. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the World Health
Organization (WHO) has emphasized the crucial importance of testing. Three things are crucial:
tracking down cases with symptoms; identifying their household cluster and tracing people
they’ve contacted and quarantine them until there are no longer infectious. Testing is the basis of
public health detective work to shut down a pandemic.
“Find, isolate, test and treat every case”, to defeat or to break the chains of transmission. Every
case they find and treat limits the expansion of the disease. Testing can help protection health
workers and measure the progression of the unseen opponent. It can also provide an evidence on
how the virus affect people with different ages and gender. Testing for the virus across the
general population can tell us whether our assumptions about the virus are correct. Only a very
small proportion of the population is at risk and that more than half of the population have
already been exposed to the virus, largely without symptoms.
Due to its limited capability, the current testing protocol of the Department of Health (DOH) is
only for those who show symptoms. That’s why we need to encourage everyone, reunite and
insist to pushed through the mass testing even to the people who don’t have symptoms. Maybe
he/she don’t have symptoms but he/she is carrier, we need to cooperate in order to win against
the unseen enemy. You can’t fight with a virus if you don’t know where it is. There’s no
particular age, particular gender, all of us can be carrier so all of us must be tested. YES, to mass
testing for covid-19 be pushed even for people without symptoms.
MODULE 4:
SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT:

Robert Frost’s poem, “A Soldier” is quietly influenced by the death of his close friend, Edward
Thomas, who was killed in the battle during World War I.
Robert Frost’s poem, “A Soldier” expresses an insightful view regarding the meaning of
soldier’s duty; it is fascinating blending of the English and Italian sonnet. ‘HE IS THE FALLEN
LANCE THAT LIES AS HURLES, THAT LIES UNLIFTED NOW, COME DEW COME
RUST, BUT STILL LIES POINTED AS IT PLOWED THE DUST. IF WE WHO SIGHT
ALONG IT ROUND THE WORLD, SEE NOTHING WORTHY TO HAVE BEEN ITS
MARK, IT IS BECAUSE LIKE MEN WE LOOK TO NEAR, FORGETTING THAT AS
FITTED TO THE SPHERE, OUR MISSILES ALWAYS MAKE TOO SHORT AN ARC’.
Metaphorically the “fallen soldier” to a lance that has been “hurled”, it is the start of the
speaker’s comparison thought of process. Nevertheless, the lance continues to designate some
target. The fallen soldier continues to point out the way he died. While reclining in “dirt”, both
the lance and the soldier communicate an important an important intention. The reader’s
attention is then drawn to the citizens why soldier fought and fell. The speaker knows that those
soldiers who find difficult to understand why the soldier fight and die at all. Why should we be
fighting in the first place?
‘THEY FALL, THEY RIP THE GRASS THEY INTERSECT THE CURVE OF EARTH AND
STRIKING BREAK THEIR OWN; THEY MAKE US CRINGE FOR METAL-POINT ON
STONE. BUT THIS WE KNOW, THE OBSTACLE THAT CHECKED. AND RIPPED THE
BODY, SHOT THE SPIRIT ON, FURTHER THAN TARGET EVER SHOWED OR
SHOWN”. The average of citizen’s imagination is short sighted they don’t visualize the actual
mission of the soldier. These low-information citizens remain incapable of grasping the sense of
duty, the expression of energy, and the life that these soldiers have felt deep in their hearts and
minds. Only the protected ignorant, self-serving politicians, have continued to denigrate them,
instead of honoring them as a great soldier’s deserve.
