inner workings of a business to ensure it is running efficiently. When it comes to
business operation, it involves everything that keeps the business running, earnings
and also the profit that is made through the business. Just like that, Autism We
Care(AWC) business operation to provide services to the parents, schools or
individuals who needs assistance in education autism children. With a proper strategy
& planning, AWC knew who their potential customers going to be and we were able
to customize the product and services based on the request. With a data management
team, the records of the customers and students are filed properly for future
references. The need for a business operation is to ensure that there is a proper
systematic way of running the business. Each department will be aware of their job
description and what they need to fulfill to meet the standards of AWC. The products
and services provided in AWC is a 100% reflection on how the business operation
works out for AWC. In additional, the business operation is also the bridge that
connects all departments, internally and externally to ensure that AWC runs smoothly
without any hiccups that would hinder AWC from providing the best products and
services to their customers.

Besides having a real time store, AWC large customer database is from their online
store as products and services are sold online to the customers. The role of the website
is to provide more information on what Autism We Care is all about and what are the
services we provide. The purpose of the website is to be like a magazine and a store
front but virtually that can be browsed through by the customers. Besides it being a
marketing tool to further promote AWC, it is also a business tool that is used to
expand the business. By fully making use of the Internet, the website would increase
the traffic number of users visiting the site and this in a way would generate revenue
for AWC. With the website being live, the product details, services provided and
contact details are available 24/7 which is a plus point because orders can be placed
online and when the person in charge checks the website on order placed, the orders
will be processed. In this case, the moment an order is placed, an automatic message
is sent to the buyer that would state that their order is placed and the order is being
processed.

It is not only AWC that is working to provided the best services. There are few third
parties that are involved in making sure the website runs smoothly.The role of third
parties are very important as these parties are the ones that increases customer
satisfaction when they are browsing through the website. When it comes to making
contact, the third party involved is Wix Site. Wix ensures that the customer contact
are saved into a database for AWC to access them when ever they need to. The
customer contact comes with customer’s information like name, contact number,
email address and what type is the customer looking for. Besides that, Wix also helps
the customers to create an account with them so that it would help AWC to keep track
of their registered users in their Website.

Wix, has made sure that generation of product experience is made easy for AWC. In
the website, AWC has to input the product and services provided and Wix, will help
AWC to design its way of output so that it will be easily accessed by customers who
visit the website. Meanwhile, the payment method in the website is using PayPal. The
customer needs to key in their card information and the customer will be directed to
the PayPal page of payment. In PayPal, the customer would make a payment and will
be directed to AWC website for customer confirmation again. Lastly, the delivery
commitment of AWC is through Pos Laju Malaysia. Shipments will be out every
Tuesdays and Thursday. Besides that, if the customer were to purchase more than
RM200, there will be no shipment cost. Besides Pos Laju Malaysia, there is a option
for self pick-up of their products as customers who are nearby the real store will be
able to self pick up the items.

Issues & Risks :

Every pro, has its cons and just like that, even with a real store and website there are
certain issues and risks that AWC has to go through. The first one would be on
managing infrastructure. When there are staffs who are needed to run the real store
and the website, it is important to know the policies, processes, equipment needed,
data, human resources, external contacts and so on because these are things that
would ensure the overall effectiveness of AWC. The main purpose of knowing how to
manage the infrastructure is to have a better control of all the departments that are in
AWC. With a shaken infrastructure, it would be an issue on how to the business
operation works for AWC.

Besides that, there would be security issues that would arise too due to the website.
Anytime it involves online payments, customers are generally afraid of their credit
card or debit card information to be stolen. AWC provides online payments that are
secure as AWC uses PayPal as their form of payment which has a secure payment and
this would give the customers the assurance that their card information would be safe
with us. Besides card information, Wix site has given AWC that contact data is also
securely stored as this would avoid leak of customer data.

Legal issues would arise when AWC requires the license to run an autism center as it
needs a lot of professional input and assistance in ensuring that the method used on
the autism child is proper and would not leave an damage. Besides that, AWC needs
to follow the government policies on services they provide as all these needs to be
given permission from the Ministry of Health Malaysia and Ministry of Education
Malaysia before AWC to start off their operations. AWC that is providing services for
autism children to be in par with the school syllabus needs the cooperation and
support from the Ministry of Education Malaysia and if they fail to obtain that license,
it will be a big dent on their plan to have services that would educate autism students
on the school syllabus.

Lastly, the ethical issues that would arise would be due to the integrity and trust.
When AWC could not keep up with their promises on providing quality product and
services, this will exhibit an unwavering commitment to the ethical business practices
and would definitely affect the trust customers have upon AWC. In most cases, with a
high level of trust is what that develops loyal customers that would keep coming back
for more products and services and if the trust is broken, AWC could lose a big
number of their customer base. Other ethical issues would be on the unfairness
towards employee. Employees are to be given the appropriate pay, bonus, leaves and
so on based on the Employment & Labor Law 2019. AWC being a service provider
could have ethical issues when they don’t know how to respect the privacy of the
customer. Sometimes, when the customer request for a private room for a session, it is
unethical to have a recording of that following session as AWC would be not only
breaking the trust of the customer but also not respecting their need for privacy.
